Ressource calculation question (noob one)

Hey guys, i am currently playing an ice warden off-tank with an ice staff. 60% mana - 40% health skilled + focusing on spell damage and armor mostly

I am thinking about using my runes to make prismatic defense gylphs. Since i got a little confused with the changes for hybrids here are my questions:

1. Will my damage overall be less with full prismatic glyphs and my health as well in favour of stamina?

2. Is the stamina plus just for running and dodging (i use tri focus --> blocking costs magicka) or does it favour my damage in any way?

3. Would it be worth for my build if gold doesnt matter?

Thank you in advance :)

the small gear pieces (boots, belt, gloves, shoulders) give half values on the enchants, so combined they are 2 pieces worth, then you have 3 large pieces with full values for basically 5 enchants (6 if you are using a shield, since shields get an additional armor enchant)

if you are using a ice staff for tanking instead of 1h/shield you would only have effectively 5 full enchants worth, so you couldnt necessarily do 50% mag and 50% hp (you could do 3 large as mag and 4 small as health, or the reverse, of 3 large health and 4 small mag)

using the numbers you provided (assuming all non-infused)

3 large health + 4 small mag = 1736 max mag and 2862 max health
3 large mag + 4 small health = 2604 max mag and 1908 max health
    all tri-stat = 2170 max mag, 2170 max stam, 2385 max health

so if you went roughly 50/50 on mag and health, your basically just losing out on the stam bonus

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

dmg will be scaled to higher max mag or max stam, if mag is higher, then stam wont help dmg

higher stam pool will help with sprint + dodge + ccbreaks (so even if your not using it to block, its still helpful as a higher pool)

the tristat glyphs are more stat dense compared to the single stat enchantments, so while the 1 pool might be slightly lower than using the focused stat enchants, you will be gaining a lot more in all 3 pools

to give an example, i think a non-infused large piece single stat enchant is like ~890 to max stat
the tristat on the same piece is around ~500 per stat (total of ~1500 stats), so while it doesnt buff the single stat quite as much, your still getting almost double the stats

max mag and max stam also dont contribute as much to your dmg as raw weapon and spell dmg, i think the conversion rate is 10.5 max stat = 1 weapon/spell dmg

so on a single piece of gear, while its about 300 less stat, that is only roughly 28 weapon/spell dmg equivalent, but your gaining a lot more in terms having more hp and more secondary resource pool

if you focused stat all of your gear, the non-infused rough value would be in the range of ~4450 increase, but only to the 1 stat
if you use tristat on all gear, it would be roughly ~2500 to all 3 stats (7500 stat in total), so while you would say have less max mag, now your getting an additional 2500 hp and 2500 stam

if your a warden, polar wind scales on max hp, and you factor in you get an additional +10% max hp from toughness

Thanks for the explanation. Someone in my guild told me i will get more life overall than if i would do 50 % magicka glyphs and 50% life gylphs. But the prismatic glyph gives 434 magicka and 477life, while a magicka glyph grants 868 magicka and a life glyph grants 954 life. So overall i would just gain stamina this way but no increase in magicka and life correct?
