Lag in Cyrodiil

Why is there the worst amount of lag in Cyrodiil during the Mayhem Event? It is the worst I have ever seen it. We aren't even on 3 bars and it is terrible. I surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here already. We're paying good money on monthly subscriptions and for the new update just to be given a lag fest. Why isn't this being addressed?
