Issue with receiving the Access Code?

I have a few friends who are wanting to try ESO during the free week, however, the access codes are not being received.

We've tried all the suggested "fixes" from the support pages, but nothing is working.

Is this system down or something? I've seen a few reports from earlier in the year, but nothing recent.

if its not the first time they have logged in then it could be the "fake" bugged one, that doesnt actually do anything, and attempting to log in again usually works if you close that prompt

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

As for me I suspect it is hotmail/outlook or similar providers that do not play nice with receiving the emails. Access code or password reset does not matter, I receive none of them despite marking ESO as a safe domain/sender like guides suggest.

For now I would advise EVERYONE ON THE PLANET using those email providers to immediately cancel ESO+ subscription, or suddenly they may not be able to, and may not be able to log into the game for weeks despite nothing changed on their PC.

Some may call this harsh, I call it prudent :) the solution is for ZOS to implement proper twofactor authenticators (like SMS or Google auth preferred) instead of emails only. For me the issue happens roughly every month or so. Tickets filed so far:

230410-001230 (ticket ongoing, asked them to set my account to a different email provider)
230312-002703 (emails magically/randomly appeared again 1½ weeks later, ticket resolved)

Just a quick update, my latest ticket is solved now, switching to gmail instead of the other providers, and I got the access code email within 5min of the screen prompt. Good luck to others with similar issues.
