omfg. please stop with the poor people asking for help....because....WE CAN NOT HELP THEM! especially in Rivenspire....they are always asking for help as i walk by.....BUT i can not give them gold, clothes, directions or legal advice.....because there is no option/etc.

IF you have npcs asking for help/etc....let us do it!

STOP. BREAKING. MY. HEART!

Actually, YES, please. Several times I stopped on my track and returned to these poor souls only to find out there is no option to interact with them. And it's not about breaking my heart. I honestly thought it was tied to some achievement (like help 10 villagers/resolve 5 disputes/save 8 maidens in distress or some such)

There are NPC interactions with beggars where you can give them gold, there is even an achievement to do this in all alliance zones. They have a white pointer over their heads. You even get some exp when you do. (one of them spawns directly outside the rivenspire main town's south gate)
The non-interactive beggars are usually part of a questline, where they give quest information for gold. So they are still beggars, but you have to be on that specific quest.

There are also other interactions which can give exp, like putting on/making bigger, the NPC's their campfires. (usually found along the roads)

PS: This is besides other random inteactions: like the summoner, werewolves, vampires, bandits, and other interactions you can encounter in the game.

I thought they were there to give you somebody to steal from? /shrug

You are walking along a city street when a poor, lame beggar cries out in despair and stretches out their arms, palms up:

    [if in(Daggerfall) then print]
"One more coin and I can get a pair of shoes!"
    [elseif in(Skywatch) then print]
"I'm only asking for enough to feed me kids."
    [else print]
    "I'm so hungry!"
    [endif]

    Do you

    (a) Give the poor, lame beggar a coin, then ask about rumors regarding a quest you're on?
    (b) Tell the poor, lame beggar to get a job and recommend a nearby bartender who always knows about available work?
    (c) Avert your eyes and pretend you can't see or hear the poor, lame beggar?
    (d) Quietly slip around behind the poor, lame beggar, wait for them to forget you're there, then steal everything they own?
    (e) Quietly slip around behind the poor, lame beggar, wait for them to forget you're there, then stab them with the Blade of Woe?

It is frustrating that we cant toss them some coin, or something.
