Embarrassing ESO Moments

My embarrassing moment is why I became a roleplayer.

When I first began playing I would stand in line at the bank waiting for other players. Someone asked what I was doing and I said waiting for my turn to use the bank.

They tell me every one can use the bank at once. So out of pure embarrassment I said I was roleplaying.

Final response from them was: "Good luck waiting your turn. Bank lines in this game are worse than the DMV."

My embarrassing moment was the first time I used Templar sweeps after the horrible model and animation change. The daedra I was fighting stopped fighting me and fell down laughing.

I thought go for a RND. Turned my entire chat off. Even played offline. Fed up of the group chats. Then joined a queue. Entered a dungeon with 3 others. We killed the first boss. And then it started. 2 players tried to kick the third player. I don´t know why, I just wanted to move on, and finish this dungeon. Didn´t agree to the kick. So we kept walking. It didn´t take long, another try. Kick the third player, from the group. Again I didn´t agree to this. I continued with baddie fights. The other two tried this maybe another 4 times. Now it get´s really funny. The 3 guys tried to kick each other, after that a couple of times. I lost track how many times this happened entirely? I just walked forward, like John Wayne would and killed some enemies. Closer to the end the guys gave up, and FOCUSED MORE ON THEIR JOBS for a change! :D

I never forget Murkmire. 2 guys standing in front of the Blackrose Prison. Whining in the chat. Text: Looking for a Blackrose Prison vet. group. Who want me in a group? Need help. I walked closer to them. I wrote once in the chat: I can help! No answer. Instead they kept whining. Need a group, need a group. I was standing there for 15 minutes. Nothing happened. I thought what about, hey the two guys join as a group. Then just need another two guys. No they kept going. I had to leave kept laughing. :D:D

I think when the scoreboard quits working during a PvP event that is pretty embarrassing. Add to that the faction health bonus for gaining emp doesn't work anymore either. I'd say the whole state of PvP right now is as about as embarrassing as it gets.

I joined two: Battleground Capture The Relic Matches. Had to laugh so hard, nearly fell of my chair. Why?

    Match one:

Enemy team green. A player had to protect their relic. Thing is the player in the back, didn´t protect. At all. Just stood there.
Was easy for our team, to snatch the relic several times. One player green team, attacked us with his bow at his base. Noticed his team member, don´t protect the relic. He/she then, attacked the passive player instead.

    Match two:

I stole a red team relic. Ran to a bridge missed, fell down deep. Died. 2 players red team, and 1 player purple team, jumped down too and died. I call it, the lemming effect.

More of a /duh moment than embarrassing but my only experience with online games being EQ1 when I started ESO, my first battle after coldharbour was a dolmen. It was EPIC and after we "won" a chest appears! Being new and not knowing SOP I waited to see if we're gonna roll for it or what. I mean I wasn't even grouped with anyone and wasn't quite sure that I didn't jump uninvited into a mini guild raid. Everyone went to look inside the chest(me too!) And then everyone just stood there, quiet. After a bit I asked in /say how they decide loot in the game and who gets the chest. After having to explain my previous exp and the confusion a few kind souls explained it to me and even thought it was great that I didn't want to loot steal.

I ran Vet Unhallowed Grave for the first time in a while. It had been a hot minute since I used the grapple mechanic, but remembered I used to get pretty confidant with it. This time, standing on the edge didn't give me the prompt, so I thought I needed to bechecked. Everyone else crossed just fine. Decided to do a running jump and mid air grapple, and confidently launched myself into the chasm, cause it never gave me the prompt.

Was the group Healer and ran to catch up with them a little rosy cheek'd.

For the longest time I thought you had to belong to a guild to use the guild traders.

(a close second would the be the time I happened upon a player taking on a WB alone in Wrothgar. He was standing on top of some rocks and trying to range it. I thought I'd help, so I waded in. Things started out okay, but then I was killed. I rezzed, only to be killed again the moment I re-engaged. This happened about 3-4 times. I figured the other player must have been laughing their A off, because I know I was. I still laugh about it today.)

I have 2211 hours, you don't have to be part of a guild to use them?

You don't have to be apart of a guild to use them.

    @Vhozek

Just to be clear, you don't need to be a member of any player guilds to be able to interact with the guild traders throughout the game's zones and purchase items from them. (But if you've never interacted with a guild trader before, be aware that all you'll see at first is a whole lot of nothing. To see what's available for purchase, you must do a search so you can browse through the search results. You can search for everything by leaving the search field empty, but it's much more useful to at least select one of the listed categories to narrow down the search results.)

On the other hand, you cannot sell your items at a guild trader unless you are a member of whichever player guild won the weekly bid for that particular guild trader.

If you are in a player guild which has not won the weekly bid on any of the game's guild traders, you can still sell your items in the guild's store, which can be accessed through most banker NPCs, but only players who are also members of that particular player guild will be able to browse through and purchase your items.

When I first created my main I didn't realize that all attributes( health, magic, and stamina) are important. I only gave points to stamina and magic.

Now I realize I don't have any points added to health because someone mentioned it to me in a non dlc dungeon on normal mode. Then the player explained to me why "are you taking so much damage and almost getting instant killed" . I responded...

    I forgot

I felt so embarrassed 😳 and giggled.

Not my embarrassing story but what a friend told me today.

I was stuck in the queue for awhile, like everyone else, and when I finally got in game the first thing I did was my daily writs. My friend noticed me logging off and on and knowing about the queue said "How are you getting back in the game so fast?". I replied that I never left the game but was just changing characters.

There was a pause as he realized what he had been doing. He had been completely shutting down the game then restarting to change characters. I asked why he did that and he had no answer.
