The price of pots and flowers are not players fault, imagine if there where no flower farmers, how would it look then?
In my opinion the problem is in zos hands, players need an easier way to get flowers.
Sure telwar was a great idea but for pve players it gets annoying and boring when you get ganked 5 times in 20 mins and losses half your telwar.

How could it be any easier? Just run around picking flowers and anything else you stumble across. Almost as easy as fishing.

Crafting materials are rather difficult to sell (and buy) via guild trader with limited slots for limited stacks. Sell/buy order system which allowed players to list mats in bulk on trader for minimum unit price they want and buy whatever amount they need if available for maximum unit price they are willing to pay could help mats move better. Not sure how it could be attached to current system.

Any time I place materials in a guild store they sell within a day. Another game I played for a short while had the sell/buy orders and the market got shut down by developers more than a few times because of exploiters. Turns out it is easy to manipulate the market with buy/sell orders.

So did you overprice them or is the trader in a hard to get spot?

They could just add tristat potion as one of the options from PvP vendors. It helped to reduce cost of spell power potions and corn flower back when it was also getting expensive.
