Killing Verrik

Is there some trick to this quest? I'm level 4 and Verrik is absolutely handing my ass to me every time we fight. I managed to get upstairs with the king, but I can rarely get the assassin down to more than half health before he ganks me.

LvL 4 is pretty low, you dident do the start islands?

I would recommend a few more levels. Do starter islands.
