12 Event Ticket and Accidental Quest Turn Ins?

Is there anyway to correct accidentally turning in a quest that has event tickets attached when you have 12 tickets already or am I wasting my time waiting for support to respond to my ticket?

As an update Customer Service did grant me the 2 Tickets for the accidentally turned in quest.

I did supply the exact time stamp of when the quest was turned and a screenshot of it as well.

It did take a great amount of time so I do suggest managing event tickets, but since we are human mistakes are bound to happen.

If you could pass along the suggestion of modifying events so that the method of earning tickets only activates when there is space to receive the tickets and adding methods of obtaining the tickets similar to eating the anniversary cake can be repeatedly attempted, this could drastically cut down on the number of customer service tickets events generate.

The rewards of the event and the event tickets themselves do not necessarily have to be generated by the same method and I am sure most player will pursue the other event rewards just as equally as the event tickets.

Perhaps some brainstorming on what events might make for good event ticket generation methods for the various events that ESO runs might improve future events.

Thank you to the customer service staff for assisting me and I hope others have a positive outcome as well.

No way to undo it. If it is a quest hand-in, (might be one of my add-ons, idk) there's usually a warning with red text that you are going to be wasting tickets.

If you are on PC there is an add-on specifically to avoid this: https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info3021-IsJustaEventTicketSaver.html

What was an idea behind setting only 12 tickets when we can have so much more value in other currencies?

    Participation in events.

By limiting to 12, it forces players to spend them or lose them. So, players are unable to save more than 12 event to event to prevent them from logging in day 1 of the event and buying everything they want with tickets, and then peacing out for the rest of the event.

Now, this still happens to some extent, but not usually until a bit of time into the event.

Send the Support Ticket. I cannot speak for them however I'm sure they will help if they can. They are generally understanding about these things however some things they can't do.

i usually try to start every event with 10-12 tickets already stocked up

however with ticket costs of items, this only basically allows me to buy 1-2 items out of the roughly dozen that are available

i usually do this to help spend less time using tickets for stuff like the fragment collectible, which cannot be traded for gold after the event is over

So it has been about 2 - 3 hours now and it seems that I received a response, it is either a copy and paste response of the event information or a robot response. It is not a helpful response either way. Until the customer service representative starts asking questions to me directly, I'm going to have to assume I am talking to a robot.

Is there anyway to be put into contact with a real person? I am willing to make a phone call at this point.

    My Ticket number is: 230511-002318

You'll have to respond to the bot mail, restating your issue (a copy and paste of the original mail to support should suffice). You should begin by stating "This response did not answer my question and did not help me in any way."

Then add the copy-paste of the original mail, and see if you get a better response. Also good that you tagged Kevin and gave your ticket number.

    Good luck!

That's totally AWESOOME! Glad you got the tickets, and to CS - way to GO!
