Can boss Halodid broodmother in ghost haven bay public dungeon be soloed? Solved

So I tried to solo this boss but when she lifts me up in the air and drains all my health i cant find a way to get away. Is this mechanic avoidable as a solo player?
. I never see anyone in that dungeon so i cant get help killing her and i want that lead.
My question is how can i avoid her grabbing me and draining all my health ?

I did it on my sorc with 1 bar oakensoul ring and found it easy and i got my gold antiquities lead.

Try Precognition on both bars when she grabs you (Psijic ultimate morph). Could also try a companion tank or healer, I suppose.

EDIT: I assume you actually mean Spire of the Crimson Coin. I found it. Precognition does not work in that fight, so don't bother. However the group boss does very little damage to a purpose-built solo character, such as my stamsorc with whom I went there. My character has about 2K health regen from Strategic Reserve and passively heals from Crit Surge while Hurricane, Caltrops and Stampede are up. Health barely drops during the CC phases.

There are many ways to slice this. Get some health regen from, say, Gaze of Sithis and Endurance jewelry. Alternatively wear Pale Order and DOT the boss up good, so Pale Order keeps healing you from your damage over time. Perhaps simply use a class that has HOTs (heal over time) from damage, such as Swallow Soul or Burning Embers. On the other hand just having enough health and a healing skill seems to be enough. I dropped Strategic Reserve for testing (so no health regen to speak of). My character has 35K health and about 20K resistances with Vigor. The boss dropped me down to about 40%. One Vigor afterwards basically restores your health. Tested without Crit Surge running in that case.

i have defeated that boss alone several times and i have no clue what you're referring to.
are you perhaps referring to the Hadolid world boss instead?

And, for that one, you front bar a heal over time, and keep it up at all times. If you are a warden, the bear occasionally interrupts her and frees you.

If you are PC NA, I can give you a hand with it if you want.

It's a pain to do solo. I don't think you can prevent the grab from occurring.

You can survive doing it by having enough durability/healing to tank the drain.

i solod her on one of my tanks running leeching plate lol, that gear is great at keeping you alive lol

one some of my other weaker toons, they dont always survive that, unless they have a healer companion active while its draining me

Yep, this or spec out your companion as a healer to save you. Both work

Halodid broodmother is both a wb and she is also in the ghost haven public dungeon.

She drains all of it if you cant get out of her grasp.
Look up list of bosses in ghost haven oublic dungeon and you will see halid broodmother is in there, she is also a wb ...

She is definately halid the broodmother in the ghost haven public dungeon

I've done it on my sorc. Crit surge plus a dot kept me alive through this phase.

I haven't managed it on any of my other characters, though.

I did it today twice on my sorc with oakensoul 1 bar build...was easy.
I got the lead and was able to finish my woodworking station from antiquitìes.

the crimson mother boss drains for about 5-10 sec, as long as you can survive that your good, but the drain is pretty high dmg and you cant cc break out of it on your own

a melee companion could interrupt (if they arent dead) or a healer companion could get you through it

or just build tankier with a set like leeching plate

the hadolid group boss in the other public dungeon doesnt have any kind of unbreakable cc move, its just very annoying with health % triggered invulnerable phases

Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for regarding the Crimson Mother boss.
I've fought the Hadolid Broodmother a few times, it's not too tough, but as you said the invulnerability phases tend to slow down the fight a bit.
