am i missing something or does tamriel not have recipes that require "meat" from any particular race? iirc i've seen this in other mmo's. just assumed. maybe wishful thinking.
You've had nature explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the living body explained to you and you're bored with it, you've had the universe explained to you and you're bored with it, so now you want cheap thrills and, like, plenty of them....

i guess some folks are thrown by the word "race" because i can't remember the last time i heard anyone refer to any animal in a racial context, species yes but not race o.0. my bad.
im not talking about the game, red meat, fish, etc. i guess i was being too polite and need to spell it out...
recipes requiring meat harvested from killing any number of the races in the game...bosmer race, argonian race, high elf race, orc race....cannibalism.

? I'm not sure what you mean. There's plenty of recipes that call for one of the following: Game, Small Game, Poultry, Fish, White Meat, Red Meat.

I'm going to assume you mean things like "Imp Meat", "Orc Meat", "Goblin Meat" etc. No, the food system used to be much more involved than it was, but it has been simplified by quite a bit for a while. You used to need to gather individual seasonings (salt, pepper, etc) vs now just needing a catch all "Seasoning" item.

Provisioning used to be much more complicated, and did include different types of meat (as well as different types of other ingredients) and included things like alliance-specific ingredients. You can see the old list here: https://en.uesp.net/w/index.php?title=Online:Provisioning_Ingredients&oldid=1418810

Personally I'm glad they simplified it, I started just before that update and just trying to collect and store all the ingredients was annoying, trying to work out what I needed to level provisioning was even worse.

What do you mean ? I’m vegan (IRL)and I make a ton of meat dishes in this game lol. There is literally a meat sub section in provisioning. There is fish / chicken / venison etc etc

I remember the old system, Bosmer drinks sounded nasty.
