How busy is it when a new chapter releases?

Hello folks. I'm thinking of getting the new Necrom chapter/ expansion, but I really hate sharing my quests with a dozen randos.
Is is mad busy in the first few weeks? I'm on the EU server. Thanks.

✭✭✭✭✭Very busy early on. I take advantage of that time to get all the world bosses and group events. ✭✭✭It 100% depends on how many instances they make for the new zones. For High Isle, I saw very few other players while doing the quests the first week because of how many instances of High Isle they opened.
Which was a nice change, because usually it's packed so full that I don't even want to do the quests for like two weeks.PC-NA

✭Ps5eu, worldbosses, cities, public dungeons, delves, world events are stacked with players when a new zone release, but that is fun in my opinion
