Lack of endgame cosmetic rewards

All the rewards ( very few) in this game are either super easy to obtain such as pets for entering DLC zones or super difficult such as trifecta mounts. There are very few medium difficulty rewards in the game such as the beast personality. ZOS needs to add more endgame rewards to the game, and perhaps even some sort of achievement vendor where you can spend achievement points, which would incentivize players to participate in more aspects of the game and will take advantage of account wide achievements system.

Yup, thread that's been done a thousand times. But of course it has, since players want a reason to play the game beyond housing.

This is a problem that exists entirely due to loot boxes. If the loot boxes didn't exist, a lot more cosmetics would be available in the cash shop sure, but I'm certain a good bunch of it would end up at earnable in-game. It really should, for the lifeblood of the game, have a WoW like system. Why do you think that game has lasted over 20 years, when many of the popular competitors are dead? It's not just due to nostalgia, but also due to retention in the game. The majority of the cosmetics you earn in that game are earned by doing bossing, by grinding monsters in certain areas, by completing hard achievements that go beyond just do x trial in a certain amount of time with no deaths. It rewards you for playing the game, so people continue to play that game.

ESO doesn't do this. It has no retention activities beyond housing, which is only a retention activity if you like it. It basically incentivizes you to only spend money on the game, which has been proven to work in the short term but not in the long term. That's why games like Fifa or COD have new versions every year. It won't work forever, and will kill this game eventually. It needs cosmetics for players to earn, so players can do something more than just gather gear and kill stuff.

Game needs rewards system based on your achievement points. For example an account reaches ten thousand points there can be a reward as skin or mount. Same goes for other mile stones. They can add further and further rewards as the game keeps growing along with the maximum achievement points.

Some of the induvial achievements can also grant some mounts or skins instead of allowing you to buy certain furnishing from achievement vendors. In my opinion reaching Grand Overlord rank is a bit underwhelming, since you can only buy decoy Elder Scroll for your house. Could have been a good chance to reward the player with a unique Alliance mount.

On the other hand we are now only getting one pair of dungeons per year, maybe they can add similar rewards to upcoming dungeons like Dragon Bones dungeons or Wolfhunter dungeons where players could get a skin and a personality from them.
