Gates of Adamant - starting locations

Not taking into account the 3 main starting islands we have these possibilities:

Altmer -> Summerset
Breton -> High Isle
Dunmer -> Morrowind / Vvardenfell
Imperial -> Blackwood
Khajiit -> Elsweyr
Nord -> Dark Heart of Skyrim

Unfortunately Orcs do not have the possibility of starting in Wrothgar bypassing Stuga :) , and the Saxhleels (Argonians) cannot start in Murkmire. Could we update "The Gates of Adamant" to include these ?

Even worse, Bosmer and Redguard do not yet have a possible social starting point (future Chapter or DLC with access gates ?)

What do you think ?
During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

    Redguards actually do considering Stros M' Kai is part of hammerfell.

    Arguably blackwood works for argonians as well since the eastern part of blackwood is part of black marsh.

    Wrothgar / Orsinium and Murkmire aren't part of the base game, so apart from the player having to have bought the respective DLCs, neither of their storylines are even remotely related to the base game Molag Bal plot - in contrast to the base game race regions you mentioned.
    So it actually makes sense that these areas aren't offered as an option. Orsinium was a pre-chapter release and Murkmire is only one of the tiny Q4 DLCs, so neither is a chapter or a part of the base game and the stories of both DLC are more or less standalone things that make no difference whatsoever to the storyline we are presented with.

    Besides, Orcs feature in the Covenant plot and Bosmers make up a couple of parts of the Dominion storyline while the lizards turn up in the Pact storyline.

    I doubt ZOS have ever considered it in the sense of giving each race the option to start off in their home province. The available options are about advertising chapter zones and getting new players into the newest areas as soon as possible.

    Originally everyone started in their Alliance's starter island or city (it changed a couple of times). When Morrowind was released everyone who bought it had to start on Vvardenfell and that continued with newer chapters - all your new characters had to start in the latest chapter you owned, if you had older ones as well you lost access to their tutorials when you bought a newer one.

    Players kept on asking for more options (mainly the option to start in the base game zones) and when Blackwood was released we got the current compromise, but it didn't add any new types of starter locations, it only gives you a choice of the 3 base game Alliance starter islands or the chapters.

    Wrothgar probably would have been a chapter if they'd had that system in place when it was released, but including it now would be a bit strange considering chapters are re-branded as DLC when a new one comes out. Murkmire was always 'just' a DLC map.

    If ZOS did want to give race-based options I think it would make sense to use the base game maps (or for example argonians would start in Shadowfen) but like I said I don't think they've ever seen it that way.

    I thought the only choices you had at the Gates of Adam Ant were to stand and deliver, your money or your life.

    Not sure I can pretend Necrom happens before I get sacrificed to Molag Bal ... but if

    When Necrom comes out and I do want to pretend it happens before Fredas, 4 Rain's Hand 2e582 (Friday, 4 April 2014 for us Earthlings or the release of the original game and mostly the day the Vestige meets the Prophet) I would need to create a Dunmer Magicka Arcanist.

    But is that combination viable ? I could maybe use an Argonian as they used to be slaves to the Dunmer ?
