Never seen that happen in a PvE zone myself, but these infinite debuffs have become a big problem again in Cyrodiil after somewhat of a break.

It’s just very buggy. That’s why it says it lasts for 136 years and also can’t be purged like normal debuffs.

Most of the debuffs I’ve seen in that state don’t actually do anything, though. For example, you can get Burning for 49710 days as well, but you don’t take any damage from it. (Normally Burning does fire damage over time for as long as the status effect lasts.) Major Breach also doesn’t lower your armor when it gets into this state, as far as I’m aware. Perhaps that’s why there doesn’t seem to be a rush to fix whatever causes the issue.

There are definitely some problematic “infinite” states you can get into, though, like where you are permanently streaked and are just breaking free constantly. Or where your stam regen goes to 0 and never recovers. I see those in Cyro quite a bit.

For any of those debuffs, harmless or otherwise, transitioning zones should clear it. It’s annoying but relatively easy in overland like Alik’r. For Cyro you can use delves or Cheesemonger’s Hollow at the base.

and like others said ive never experienced any of these 50,000 day debuffs actually having any kind of effect

This usually happens in Cyrodiil, and going into cheesemongers hollow (volendrung tutorial portal) fixes it. Maybe change zones? Or maybe it has to be a solo instance; try the harborage if just porting somewhere doesn't work.

Infinite Streak keeps you from sprinting on foot or when mounted.

The one that makes you take more damage makes your health bar appear cracked or broken.

breach is the one that cracks your hp bar, and that doesnt have an effect either (i use addons to monitor my stats and those dont lower them lol)

ive had a bugged minor mangle debuff that visually shrinks your hp bar, but it doesnt actually apply any debuff either

We don’t have add-ons so there is no way for me to tell. I go to Cheesemonger Hollow to clear them unless there is a long queue but that rarely happens for my faction on GH anymore.
