Blades of Vengeance – NA Aldmeri Dominion [AUS / OCEANIC | PC – PVE / PvP
Blades of Vengeance (BoV) is an Australian Aldmeri Dominion guild for The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO). We have been active since the ESO Pre Release and since then have been steadily increasing our numbers. Our primary goal as a guild is to pull together a group of people who enjoy playing The Elder Scrolls Online, and build them into a tight knit community of gamers.
We accept players from all over the world, however be aware that our events are scheduled for Australian (GMT+10) time. Our aim with the guild population is to keep the numbers at around 150 members, and at this point we average between 30 to 40 people online most nights, with over 100 members online in the past 7 days.
We are a very social and laid back guild, and while some of the more "hardcore" ESO players may consider us a "casual" guild, we are anything but.
We use a Mumble server as our means of voice chat and encourage our guild members to log on as much as possible - even when there are no events scheduled. We have a number of people who are on Mumble every night and it is a great way to further enjoy the social aspect of the game, and have a laugh!
Along with our Mumble server and guild website we also have a Facebook page and a small - but growing - Steam community, for those who like to take a break from the rigours of Tamriel.
Blades of Vengeance has a very strong and active guild community, and together there is nothing we can't accomplish.
We are very organised and our Event calendar consists of at least 1 scheduled PvP night per week, along with one general PVE night - ranging from Vet / Normal dungeons to Skyshard collecting and Delve / Dolmen clearing.
Our weekly ESO events are rounded off with guild Trials running twice a week. These Trials runs are scheduled to go for 2 hours and the Raid Leaders try their best to keep the group moving and progressing, while still being able to have some banter going back and forth in voice comms.

Heya Sub. Sorry for the delayed response. If you are still interested, we would love to have you. We have been active since the 5 day early release. Started off with just my wife and me. When I logged off tonight we had a total of 29 people in guild, from all parts of Australia, NZ, Japan and even a couple of peole from the US.
We had 16 people online tonight and ran 2 full groups into Banished Cells. They ran out again pretty quick with their tails between their legs. Lol. But at least we gave it a go. We did however clear out 2 of the World Mini Bosses, cleared 3 Public Dungeons and went into Cyrodiil and captured a Keep.
All in all it was a good night.

Are casual players welcome? I used to raid on WoW but after our group disbanded last year I've gone off playing that game a bit, and in general I'm not sure how much time I can devote to playing ESO because of work, family and all the other wonderful and shiny games slated for release this year and early next year, too.
That said, I'm probably going to be on reasonably regularly because I enjoy the game. But, because of all the things mentioned before, I won't be able to play hard core and I like to take my time levelling because of the story. Heya Triss. Absolutely Casual gamers are welcome. We are not a Hardcore guild ourselves and would be happy for you to come in and give us a go. I raided on WoW for like 4 years, so I can understand where you're coming from. before ESO I hadn't settled on a game in like a year and a half.

I've been playing ESO since 5 day release; couldn't get into beta. Been spending most of my time in ESO exploring, questing and learning the logistics of the game play. I'm looking for an Australian guild to level with and then eventually explore end game content. I've played a bunch of other MMOs, including:
- WoW (Sadly, for almost 10 years, on and off! I've played in the top US/World guilds for 10 mans and I also did a fair bit of end game PvP after I lost interest in the PvE content)
- LOTRO
- SWTOR
- GW2
I'm basically looking for a good bunch of guys and girls who are competent at their characters and the mechanics of the game (understanding that the game is still new at this stage), but are also not egomaniacs as a result. I'm still learning lots and lots at the moment as far as ESO goes. I didn't get the opportunity to play Beta but I'm enjoying my Bosmer NB so far.
If there is somewhere further I need to apply, please let me know.

Ok, so in regards to what you are after, I THINK we have what you are after. We definitely have the good people who are learning to play their toons and I believe we will make a good go of things at End Game. No idea what our progression will be like at End Game, so if you're used to a more Hardcore style of guild, we may not suite you.

So BoV went into Bloodthorn (our Cyrodiil campaign) as a group for the first time tonight.
Now, I have done a lot of PvP in my time over various MMO's... Cyrodiil was like nothing I've experienced before. If you have done PvP on games like WoW, Aion, and Rift, you're going to have a certain preconceived idea on what PvP is like. My advise is to forget what you think it will be like and come to a Guild Event and see what you think. Even if you have always hated PvP, ,I would recommend coming with the guild at least once, just for the experience.
It takes a great deal of coordination and organisation to take a Keep, and while we came close tonight, we need a lot more practice.
For me, it was interesting, fun and challenging. Everything I love in a MMO.
