Is Flurry (and morphs) still considered as DoT?

Because well... Cruel Flurry adds damage to DoTs. Would it add damage to the next Flurry as well?

It's not. Event when it was maelstrom dual wield was not buffing itself.

jabs and flurry used to be a weird mix where sometimes some things would consider them as dot and some would consider them as direct (or both)
however they fixed bugs with it and it is 100% considered direct dmg now

cruel flurry only works on dot abilities that stick to the target
