I think it is a pitty that I cannot make a dark haired high elf. Same goes for red haired bretons: too few red shades. Could we have more options and a wider range? That would be awesome!

I really wish we could get the NPC-only non-collectible cosmetics.

Everyone will poing to Leythen having a dark haircolor that playable Altmer don't have access to. But there are other examples - Trynhild's got a shade of red that's unavailable to Nords as well.

And it's not even that. The guild trader Erwurlde in Mournhold has a shade of blue eyes that playable Altmer can't have. I'd love to get access to those. My big thing is that playable Orcs don't get the more saturated green skin tones that some NPCs like Brulak have, and it's annoying to play through Orsinium and see them with a skintone I wish my main could have.

The character creation menu is designed with the 10x2 grid for skin/eye/hair colors, and these are colors outside of that. It'd be tough for ZOS to add more slots. However... I think Console/gamepad UI doesn't use a grid; they use a slider, and it's easy to consider just adding things to a slider. I'd love if they just changed it to a slider for all of us so we could get the other colors.

I'd pay money right now to get an Appearance Change just to give my main the healthy green skin he's supposed to have. But especially since a lot of people will be creating new characters com June, it'd be amazing if ZOS could add those 'unplayable' colors to the character screen.

Even that, I wish we had like a barber shop in-game so we could change our hair (and facial hair) with gold

I'd also like to make a redguard with bright eyes like this little fella:

    https://africageographic.com/stories/the-boy-with-the-sapphire-eyes/

    or blond hair like these:

Unfortunately the available range of hair color is too limited.

And I am not even talking about the blatant lack of African-inspired hair styles.

I don't understand why no hair dyes in this game after nearly 10 years.

If it's for immersion reasons then surely that ship has sailed long ago. We can ride into town on a flaming camel while wearing purple glowing skin, but somehow the idea of anything beyond a small number of "natural" hair colors is bad?

Let us have our pink and blue hair already. B)

To be honest, I'd rather see reduction in weird skins but at least increase color range for natural hair color which is far far larger than available in game

Why can't we just apply our dyes to our hair, eh?

I wouldn't necessarily have gone down the road of adding some of the more outrageous skins and mounts either, but the fact is they have and at this point they aren't going to retroactively remove stuff that people either won or paid for, so it seems strange that they continue to exclude exotic hair colors.

I'd love a hair colour and skin colour pack in a similar vein to the hairstyles and facial hair ones we currently have. I think those two packs have been the best value I've ever had out of the crown store, I use them all the time. I would pay to have some similar colour packs, preferably with all colours unlocked for all races.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

Let's be honest, some general improvement on character creation and customization would be welcomed.
    • Separate eyebrow/hair colour
    • Extend the range of facial morphs
    • Extend the range of body morphs
    • Higher poly count on character models
    • Extend the range of skin tones
    • More eye colours

Paired with an overhaul of character animations making them more naturally fluid would really make a huge difference.

    Goodness no. Those are awful.

Would be good get haircolour cosmetic pack, like how we got hairstyle one. Which can unlock some more ones, that we see npcs get to use.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!
