CONSIDER ADDING FARMABLE FURNISHING ITEMS & PLANS IN CYRODIIL TO ATTRACT PVE PLAYERS (IMP CITY TOO)

This i think would open up a option for people to have 1 on 1 or small group fights between factions farming leads and UPGRADED chests that may hold furnishings and PAINTINGS!!! <3

You should get the game community involved in the paintings.... submitting SS's to win having a painting made of their SS (in cyrodiil) ... idk i just think you should ask more opinions and help from the community on what we want to play ;) WE LOVE THE GAME lol Was just a few ideas.

Why else attract PVE people to PvP content with shiny things? For easy kills. I'll pass on such invitation as well.

There are many pve players that hate pvp...literally despise it so why upset them by making those pve players feel like they were missing out on furnishings etc.

Some people will get really defensive at the idea of being "forced" to do pvp for a pve reward. I don't care much for pvp myself but I've got all the pve achievements of Cyrodiil and Imperial City. Other people won't even try to do the tutorial for the stamina heal no matter how hard you try to explain that it's risk free. It's just the way it is.

Do the Cyrodiil treasure maps currently drop anything nice apart from gear? I have a collection of treasure maps gathering dust. Either way, I would be creating a fresh character and doing it in the below level 50 PvP campaign. :D

I'm sure everyone knows this by now but if you want to reduce your chance of being ganked by a 100%, this is the place to go. There might not be any massive battles very often but it's your best best if you just want to explore and possibly get all the quests/skyshards, etc done before you're thrown to the wolves.

Encounters are actually a lot more fun as well because the player could be any level of skill, new to the game or veteran. Definitely more of an even and fair playing field, although you do get those players who are almost impossible to kill still even 5v1. The vet campaigns is just sweat town and the complete opposite.

So yeah I wouldn't mind TOOOO much if there was more incentive. But I'd still be using my method. It'd be a little like the Whitestrake's Mayhem event. <50 campaign, do quick daily to get tickets, sneak all the way to the destination (optional), done. ;)

Those dozens of non pve players are seeing one thing: an option to kill a lot of people who have no experience or interest in pvp. And for a majority of pve players, myself included, being a cattle for pvp is not fun.

Nevertheless, I like people putting out ideas even if I don't agree with them. I do like reading a good constructive argument.

Sure your all thinking that the PVE players will get massacred by the PVP players and have a bad time but look at it this way, what happens if a lot of PVE players flood the queues to such an extent that next to no PVP player can get in to any campaign, until they have all the new PVE stuff.

Doesn't that sound lovely, waiting for all those PVE players to overcome RNG to get all the new shiny stuff should only take a few weeks maybe months at most depending on the RNG. So don't go thinking it would just be the PVE players that would get the short end of the stick it could backfire just as spectacularly for PVP players as well.

So for me all I can say is no thanks, keep PVE stuff in PVE zones and PVP stuff in PVP zones. I do hope if they add another PVP zone in the future it doesn't have any PVE elements to it.

Have you seen the discussion about this week's weekly endeavours? https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/631559/weekly-endeavours/p1

The short version is that it's only people who already do battlegrounds, trials or arenas who are ok with it and the vast majority of those who don't are either skipping this weeks endeavours or only doing the bare minimum to get the reward and not looking forward to even that.

I think this would be much the same. People who already play PvP and like housing would be happy with the opportunity to get more plans and furnishings in their preferred game mode. Some people who mainly play PvE but don't mind PvP will go in just long enough to get what they need and then leave again and most purely PvE players will skip those plans and furnishings or buy them from guild traders.

Trying to force players into a game mode they don't enjoy is never going to make them like it. It might be the extra push some people who already like the idea need to get them to try it, that happened to me in another game, but I'd always intended to play PvP I just never got around to learning it until there was a limited-time reward I wanted. But people who already don't like the idea aren't going to suddenly change their mind because they have to do it. They'll either skip it or grudgingly do the minimum and then leave with no intention of ever going back.

I suspect there's also a lot who think it would be fun for them to be able to get more furnishings and plans in their preferred game mode. Most ESO players aren't so specialist that they only ever focus on one thing. There will be people who mainly play PvP who also enjoy housing, just like there's people who mainly play trials and vet dungeons who enjoy housing.

There will probably even be people thinking both - they get some new furnishings for their houses and some easy kills along the way.

There are many players which call themself PVErs and have no clue about actual PVE

On thread theme: it's may be a good start to add plans for replica of furnishing that limited by PVP rank in Cyro. If you play Cyro - you can buy it anyways but it will let PVPrs some gold generation and a route for bypass PVP grind for PVErs

Absolutely not. There are already antiquity and achievement furnishings for PvE "hidden" behind PvP (The Heartland antiquity painting in IC, skyshard and master angler achievement furnishings which require completing skyshards and fishing in Cyrodiil). PvE players already resent having to do Midyear Mayhem for event tickets and that event is really just for PvPers to enjoy ganging up on PvEers. The amount of PvPers I see camping the IC dailies during Midyear just proves this.

So, no. Stop trying to force together people in a game mode who hate the opposite game mode.

That's a big NO from me.

I enjoy PvP and housing the most, but I would never force one group of players to do a type of content they dislike.

All I see is either a troll or someone incapable of basic human empathy. The only other explanation aside from "troll" is that OP lacks the ability to recognize and respect other people's suffering even when they are giving the OP feedback in mass about how much they do NOT want to do something. Creepy lack of (non-sexual) consent vibes.

    To the OP:
If you want to get a painting in Cyrodiil, no one is stopping you. There's already a very nice painting in Cyrodiil. Go farm it as much as you like.

I'd be up for the challenge. I actually enjoy the more peaceful parts of Cyrodiil, there's a lot of neat scenery that you'll never see anyone at and it would be nice if all that land weren't so useless. I don't really have any reason to ever go in there as it is.

For those that don't want to go, you really don't have to. The beauty of trading in this game is that you can buy basically anything from anyone with a few hours or less of material farming in easy zones - no sense taking away options from others.

you are right!! the map is massive and you can farm and farm and explore without seeing anyone most times your there, and if one campaigns to busy....join another lol. I just think having pvp specific furnishings that we can farm and paintings of like pvp keep sieges or something of the sorts lol..... i really thought that would have been something people would have been more open too

A big NO from me as well. It's bad enough some of the furniture items require you to do dungeons or spend hours and hours looting containers only to find multiple repeats of old worthless plans. Some of us just enjoy housing and decorating and don't want to be bothered with PVP or dungeon runs.

Personally I think furnishing plans should be available on the crafting vendors like other games with housing do. And the cost of buying plans from guild traders has gotten ridiculous.
