What does dk bring to the build?

I have all 7 but dk has no delayed burst, no ally heal, whip weaker than powe slam and above all the sustain sucks. Basically what I can do is dot and hope my opponent die under bash pressure.

My 1bar performance is necro (burst, ulti), arcanist (pen, sustain, shield), nb (crit, speed, execute) >> templar (extra dmg and hot), warden (debuff, heal ally) >> with sorc and dk last. Sorc is random as it's hard to lock on cursed target and i often streak over cliff.

And corrisive armor or any attack ulti is not too useful in bg compared to instant heal. Sorc execute is also lackluster as power slam hits similar without execute range.

Maybe it's my (low) skill level but Bash Builds seem really good. People just don't know how to deal with it.

Certainly feels like the easiest way to get kills with Necro these days.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

In PVE, they're viable but have a lower DPS ceiling than non-Bash DPS skills. In PVP, they've been really good in the past, I just haven't PVP'ed in years to really give you a better sense of it.

It makes a lot of sense because compared to my previous high resistance and high sustain builds, bash weaving nearly doubles the damage without down time, and power slam hits as hard as unbuffed ultimates (without balorgh or corrosive armor) while being a spammable.

Whenever I run out of stamina I simply stop weaving and start doing constant bashing, which still hits harder than a regular LA spammable as it's 3 hits a second.

The only downside is that it cannot be buffed by weapon damage. It might be worth trying to go all divine crit build for max bash damage.

This list is out of date.

Nightblade will be A or maybe even S tier in Update 41. Dragonknight is B tier after the Corrosive nerf. Arcanist is A tier now that the class has baked for a year and players figured out how to get bash to work. I'd bump Sorc up to S+ as well. 2-bar Bash Sorc can do some really powerful things with Dark Deal, Rune Cage, Ball Lightning, and the health recovery passive.

anyone use the oblivion enchant here?

I tried infused and looks like it can proc 40% of time. It's close to useless usually but against high resist high hp targets it can add 8%, comparable to half of bash damage

    ----

Actually pretty good on some classes such as templar. Up to 10 to 12% extra damage.

What's the benefit of rune cage and/or ball lightning instead of a gap closer? It's difficult to lock enemies into the 5m range, and streak doesn't stop in front of enemies.

My latest experiment is to add immobilize as the semi spammable, to pin down enemies during stun immunity. Only works with DK and NB.

Rune Cage- unblockable, bash weavable stun that doesn't put you out of position like Streak

Ball Lightning- gap closer that breaks roots and very good for escaping. On a bash sorc, you either use BRP dw backbar with quick cloak and ball lightning or you use Vate Ice Staff backbar with Race Against Time and Streak. The latter requires lots of magicka sustain especially if you're also using Hardened Ward. That's why I prefer BRP dw backbar so I can run Lover mundus and 1pc penetration shoulder.

Shielded Assault is good too. I use it frequently.

There's no one-size fits all bar setup for every bash PvP encounter. Pick and choose what need or feel like playing.

Cyro, IC, Battlegrounds, 1v1, 4v4, Zerg vs Zerg, etc they can all have different setups.

I can't figure out how they keep stamina for attack or magicka for defense. Torc?'

And haven't seen any weaving a spammable with bash. They usually kill me only after I exhausted all my resource trying to burst them. How would two tanky bash arcanist fight each other?

Sorc's high damage and mobility type fits my taste better.
