Blastbones rework suggestion

Having a rotation built around a 2 second window just sucks sometimes. So, my suggestion is as follows:

Basic blastbones: Summon 2 skeletons for 4 seconds. After 2 seconds 1 skeleton will run towards the enemy and explode.

Magicka morph: Adds 1 extra skeleton
Stamina morph: Doubles explosion area of effect.

We already have precedence from the Warden for something like this. Think this will be a great QoL change to smooth out the necro.

    I would rather have Blastbones spawn one skeleton but the ability can be spammed. So for those who just want to sit back and spawn skellies nonstop you should be able to.

    Just my opinion but Blastbones is one of the few Necromancer abilities that IS fine. It's most of the others that really need reworking.

    This. Blastbones (and especially Stalking Blastbones) is the only thing keeping Necro up. It's one of the strongest burst skills in the game, outmatched by pretty much only Spec Bow. Even with its issues, it carries the class. The only thing I'd like to see changed is the option to recast it before it expires, in the event that it doesn't track the target too well and just kinda hangs around. The thing Necro needs is reason to use its other class abilities, because at the moment the only ones worth using are Blastbones and Resistant Flesh.

    this, the absolute worst thing i find about the blastbones skill is the complete skill lockout until the summoned blastbones is well, not alive anymore lol

    shalks was like this, they increased it's duration to the point where we are supposed to use other abilities during it but since we don't have any other delayed damage skills or an execute we really just spam our spammable more which honestly feels worse.

    fair enough. i guess i am alone in sucking at the 2 second rotation LOL. I want to be good as a necro. love the aesthetics of the class but.... that blastbone weave just kills me :(

    To be fair, it IS a bit annoying. I would certainly PREFER you could summon two or three at once and they'd maybe be at different intervals of digging themselves out of the ground so they would charge in waves so you didn't have to monitor when to hit the ability as much. It's just that the other necro abilities are SO mediocre right now that some of us want them to prioritize fixing those.

    Micromanaging blastbones is a pain and is one of the reasons i no longer main necro. A 2 second rotation, that is sometimes for than 2 seconds, is just irritating to manage and very difficult to pull off without getting incredibly frustrated.

    Blastbones is not the only skill that needs a rework, however. Most of the class needs looking at. Skulls, skeleton mage, the laughable CC ability... necro needs an overhaul. Sadly, I would be willing to bet a lot of money that it never happens.
