Question for pc player about the pts

Hi,
Following today stream, i tought about participating for the pts for the first time. Im normally a console player but do have a pc accout i never use. So i was wondering, Do i need to download both the live game AND the pts or can i download just the pts?

The PTS is it's own separate download in the launcher. Just enable it the options in the launcher (the cog next to the minimize button). I wouldn't imagine you need both since the PTS is basically downloading the game again.

I think you can just download the PTS. I don't know how to stop the live servers from automatically trying to download though.

as much as i remember only pts can be "removed" from launcher, download for live server can only be paused and will restart at every new start of eso client and has to be paused again.

both downloaded should be around 215 gb steam and 190 non-steam.

and it is useful to make template character if you don't have characters and materials - upper left corner on character creation.
