Necro tank and Brittle

Okay, probably answered previously, but could not quickly locate. Created my second tank - Necro. Learning the abilities. Curious on the possibilities of the Colossus Ult if or in combination with the boss having the Brittle debuff (minor or Major). But I am still a little unsure of how to create the debuff in the first place. Will obviously/likely have frost staff on back bar, wall, etc but what sequence or casts do I initiate to apply either debuff onto the target?

I presume that Major Vuln/Saxh(Major Force)/Brittle would be a good situation to have on the target.

Frost clench applies minor brittle when it hits. It won’t continue to apply minor brittle afterwards because it’s not a DoT, frost reach is. But frost reach would require staying on ice bar. And yes major brittle you get from nuna.

Thanks. I just reread it. Yeah, either Reach or even the unmorphed version has the 20 seconds.

Okay, so I am working to understand the abilities of Necro/Colo, and the frost damage, let alone Major Vuln, let alone Saxh and Major Force.

So, as a Necro OT, is it perhaps, is there a build/scenario where I DO NOT morph Destructive Touch (or as you say, use Frost Reach not Frost Clench), so as to allow for Brittle to be applied and thereby gain that benefit of Frost damage from the Colo/Major Vuln/Major Force/Brittle all on the boss.

Or is this overthinking it a bit......
