"Auspicious Ancestry Bundle" - 2000 Crowns

Unlocks the ability to create characters with a choice of one racial appearance and any four racial passive abilities.

Also contains a Race & Name Change Token, 3 Experience Scrolls, and a collection of Treasure Maps.

• Lore-friendly - We know from much of the game's literature that, for instance, Argonians were getting it on with non-Argonians. Certainly there exist some Imperial-looking *** with an uncanny ability to swim and a skin condition.
• Low-cost - Creating an entirely new race would require tons of developer time. Auspicious Ancestry allows players to try something fun and different, with no need for new models, dialog changes, etc.
• Roleplay-friendly - Many players want to roleplay a specific race, or simply favor certain aesthetics, but don't want to miss out on advantageous racial passives.

Just throwing this out there as a possibility. If anyone wants to chip in and improve upon it, then by all means!

Racial passives mean very little in this game, they are really only noticeable if you want to be super meta, but no one is going to kick you if you play an orc magicka build for example.

Thanks for confirming. This is all the more reason to let players choose any four they like!

No it isn't. They are nice small differences between the races.

That's not how it works in Elder Scrolls, and it's very unsure if argonians can have children with non-argonians.

Some racials are cultural, and would be more suiting as some "background" choice, while others are biologial. But racial passives doesn't do much so it's a rather resource wasting feature to try add.
