Not even halfway through my crafting dailies and I've gotten three Bonemold style pages. Thanks for having the drops not be just once a day!

It works for me. I got a Bonemold Pauldron and later Worm Cult swords.
250 boxes.

I have gotten 4 bonemold pieces and 3 worm cult motifs thus far. I'm not really sure what system is in place tbh but it's definitely not a case of 1 bonemold a day

I will also verify (Xbox NA) that I got 3 bonemold drops today after taking 12 characters through writ dailies. I got the hands, boots, and legs.

I also appreciate the drop rate. After the minstrel costume issue with the jester’s festival, it’s a nice reprieve.

Anyone complaining that they’re dropping too much can use the extra pages to wipe away their tears.

No it's better to not have enough. Because a lot of players will sell it anyway so it make work the economy of the game.

I think the best would be to have X days of an event and needing the exact same amount of items to make our event cosmetic and having one per day. So ppl wanting to sell it could, and ppl wanting to have all in the event could too.

But I really don't want to see again the page styles in everyshop at ridiculous prices (all the lyris team will be at 100 gold again...)

So yes I prefere if we don't have enough by ourself

Oh good, no abysmal drop rate for the new entry this time. I still have 50+ firepot spider pieces from last year because no one wanted/needed them even free, but better this than the Jester Minstrel Cloth fiasco.

Are you using the style pages or leaving them in your inventory? I was wondering earlier today, after reading the event details, how the drop function works for the style pages.. if it checks 'known' or if it checks inventory.

I used my first style page I got, a helm, then got a duplicate of it later on a different character (The duplicate helm being the one you see in the recently looted list)

Finally we get an event where we can actually get the rewards! Feels good! To me this makes events fun.

This is actually terrible, when playing during an event we should be able to get all the limited time rewards. Jester's event was terrible because of being unable to gather all the needed minstrel cloth pieces. Even worse, they don't even go in collections, so they are going to take up space for a year. The economy should never play a factor in the rewards, being able to play during an event should allow access to all the rewards.

Got my second page from a box earned on my 9th character. They'd all done double sets of writs, so this was somewhere between the 113th and 126th box on the account. It was a different one than the first, which I had used immediately.

Yeah, I know that sellers (and guild bank managers) hate having thousands of cheap motifs being handed out like candy, but we've had so many lately that were rare enough to be unobtainable. An event where we can all get them is very welcome.

So it's either one extreme (minstrel's cloth) or the other? Kinda wish drop rates were somewhat balanced.

So I understand that people feel the need for a fabricated “economy” to be in all mmos, and I also understand that no matter what these kind of games have an objective economy/economic system.

But like…who cares if something over saturates the economy. There are no taxes, or incomes/wages in ESO. There are no bank failures or negatives like a real world economy. No one’s life will be effected by how the “ESO market” works.

It’s literally made up currency.

If it's taking over 100 boxes total to get a second page, I wouldn't consider that particularly extreme. I just got my third only after 210 boxes. And I won't be able to do that many on subsequent days, since I saved writs to do double sets on each character.

I'm thinking either you're eligible to get one again after you pass the next hundred mark, or maybe it's that the chance resets after you get a worm cult or saberkeel page.

So far my pattern is: bonemold > worm cult > bonemold > saberkeel > bonemold

ETA: Another worm cult just now. We'll see if that cycles back to bonemold.

ETA2: yes, went back to bonemold.

When it comes to time-limited rewards during events more drops are always better, since for eg., some players might not be able to participate as much, and it's generally nice not to stress until the last minute to collect all the items

Yeah you'd think they'd update the event page to reflect the correct drop rate (unlimited). But then again, they were also telling people to destroy their extra indrik feathers when they first came out, so I guess take everything with a grain of salt.
