Bink2w64.dll Error

Was logged in earlier today with no issue. This afternoon I go to login and am getting the following error:

"bink2w64. dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."

I have performed the following actions so far:

sfc /scannow
Full game repair
Full game deletion and reinstall (including checking the boxes for Visual C++ and DirectX prerequisite checks)
Full Nvidia GPU driver deletion and reinstall

Note that NO Windows updates occurred during the time frame that I was logged on earlier and my Nvidia drivers were already up to date, even prior to the reinstall during attempted resolution.

Anyone else experiencing this??

More clarity, I guess there was one Windows update that occurred while I was away:

Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.385.2034.0)

This may be the culprit but it doesn't appear Microsoft gave the ability to specifically remove this one to test.

This issue appears related to the current DLL the game has patched in. With the most recent Windows Defender update, it no longer functions properly. Please take a closer look.
