In skills:
tell us what is an AOE
tell us what is a DOT
tell us what is Direct Damage

In champion area, put a list of skills your class can use under each thing that can affect them.

Tell us correct numbers for things, not this will increase your skill chance 100%. I seriously doubt most people read that and understand that just means 2x. and 2x from what ?

why does movement speed % not increase in advanced stats when i have ring and adept rider on ?

Skills could use tags that tell what types of passives affect them.

Yes please. Almost EVERY day I think about how much I want each ability to have keywords pertaining to what type of damage it is so I don't have to go down a google search hole every time I want to know what champion slottables effect which abilities, does this armor set effect this ability over here, etc etc. With some abilities it's fairly obvious. With others, not so much. I get really confused about how this isn't already a thing.

The tooltip for Arctic Blast is a good example: "The damage has a higher chance to apply the Chilled status effect". Higher than what, the base ability, the other morph, or just AOE Dot abilities in general? And how much higher a chance? If it's 2% that's negligible, if it's 200% that's a very worthwhile boost. Who wrote that vague blurb and thought it was an adequate description?

Man, I’ve been playing this game for like 3 years and only learned that AoEs are classified as DoTs when DoT timers were extended.

This would be great but I don’t see it happening. ZOS has made it pretty clear that they don’t want the players knowing too much about the nuts and bolts of the game by refusing to provide more precise descriptions. I guess they want us to endlessly keep swapping out skills and sets until we just give up and copy someone else’s build.
