How many accounts do you have (on the same server) ?

With the discussion here on the forum on the drop rate of the Scrap of Minstrel's Cloth it shows that quite some people have more than one account and have less issues to get the ten needed.
That made me wonder how many people here actually have more accounts

I don't think that having multiple accounts on the same server helps with getting enough Minstrel Cloth fragments, unless you are mailing them all to (a) selected account(s) for merging and don't care about acquiring it on your other account(s).

I havent been very interested in the costume but i already have 8 cloth so far from doing daily tickets on one character on each of 3 accounts, my only interest was tickets.

Yes mate exactly this. Once the acct's I consider mains have all the fragments I bank the rest or give them away. I simply increase the amount of chances to acquire what I want by volume. Crappy RNG remains the same lol

Only one. I don't have as much time as I'd like to play the one I've got so I definitely don't have time for more. I know I could use it to farm login rewards or whatever but it's not like I need the gold.

I could be wrong about this but I think it's easier to make extra accounts on console than on PC because you can share 1 copy of the game and 1 console subscription (not ESO+) across multiple profiles on the same console, and it's free to make new profiles. On PC you'd have to buy another copy of ESO for each account. So I suspect it's more common to have multiple accounts if you play on console.

Had 3 on Playstation. The second was extremely useful for mailing stuff to and selling stuff on, the 3rd was unnecessary and frankly a waste of time.

Just have one now on xbox and no desire to make another.

Currently I am basically logging in to do endeavours, events, shops and some dailies.
I used to spend a lot more time than that, especially during lockdown.

Well actually 3 accounts but I lost one when I had to buy one extra for Steam Deck. Not a big deal though, as it was like 5 eur.

I use secondary account mainly to store stuff doubling my inventory space.

Only one, and I am going to make it as fleshed out as it can be!

But this recent event(jester), and only having a very low maximum amount of characterslots available per account, has me in serious doubt if I should start making more accounts. With not having access to all my bought cosmetics as the only major downside. And I kinda don't want to take any playtime away from my main account, as I am a completionist with still plenty of things left to complete on my main account. Choices, choices, choices!

PS: For those with multiple accounts, can you have multiple accounts using the same e-mailaddress?

yea i mail the fragments to my main account as i don't actively play with the other accounts

on playstation and xbox you dont have to pay for the game multiple times to be able to play it on multiple accounts

if you're talking about dlc then yes you have to pay extra, but as far as i know people with extra accounts only get them for a personal guild bank or extra fragments of an event collectible

mine are on separate accounts, but have seen comments that alias emails work too

I don't know if it works with ESO but some email providers will let you create 'duplicate' email addresses using + and some services will treat those as seperate, letting you make multiple accounts. So for example if I had the email Danikat@gmail.com (which I don't) I could make a second account by signing up with Danikat+alt@gmail.com. I've done that in Guild Wars 2, the game treats the two as seperate email addresses but any emails go to the same inbox.

The other option, which definitely will work, is to set up a second email address and then set it to forward all emails to the one you actually use, or use a program that lets you see them all together.

I have a main one, plus a couple extra to store stuff in because I'm a pack rat and an altoholic. I keep forgetting that I can use those to get more "once per day chance" goodies... I usually pick a character from my huge roster and play it for a few days, then swap to some other character.

Currently my alt accounts mostly store intricate items and motifs for when the next chapter drops and I'll be able to make 2 new characters

I am on PlayStation, which means I only need one main account who owns the base game and PS+. Additional accounts can be made simply by creating them with a new email address and they will have access to the base game (but not additional DLC/chapters/ESO+ unless I choose to re-buy those things, which I do not).

I have 5 accounts total on PS5 NA. My main account, and 4 that exist for mixed purposes. I already had a "private" guild bank thanks to the very first friends-only guild I was in seeing everyone but myself lose interest in the game, so after asking them all if they planned to come back and if they cared if I used the guild bank for extra personal storage, all confirmed they were off to other games and I could have it. However, all 4 of my alt accounts are plugged into that guild bank because that is where I store things I want to sell, so they can all access it to withdraw items and deposit items/money.

The main reason I actually made those other 4 accounts is because of Red Dead Online. Unlike ESO, where you can have multiple different toons on one account and no limit on mounts, with RDO you can only have one character and a maximum of 10 horses. I'm a bit of a horse nut plus I wanted to play around with male and female characters. So the other 4 accounts largely spawned so that I could have different toons for RDO and a new set of 10 horse stalls each to collect different breeds and coat colors.

But to maximize those accounts' use, I did run each of them through the ESO tutorial and parked them in Vivec City. They largely don't play at all, but do sell in guild stores and make weekly donations, etc. The money they collect from selling goes into my private guild bank, which my main withdraws. The 4 accounts feed the main and when inventory storage is really rough, they help hold items.

When my BFF wanted a private guild bank for storage (10 accounts in a guild opens a guild bank), I threw them in there to help her serve as bodies to make that happen.

This Jesters Event was the first time they saw any real play at all since I did want the ridiculous Daedroth costume. So each account has done one Jester event daily for the gold coffer all to feed to my main account, where I wanted the costume. That allowed me to get the cloth I needed, assembled my costume on Sunday, and now have extras to either sell or give to any friends who want it and are short some cloth.
