Gold sent to my friend disappeared a day after

On March 16 I've sent a good amount of gold to my friend via mail to help them out with housing and it disappeared a day after they logged back to the game, we've been trying to find out what happened but we lost hope by now and need assistance, they don't have a forum account yet otherwise would have sought help before.

File a ticket. I had something similar happen years ago, and they got it sorted out
