Unable to connect after switching between NA and EU server

Since last maintenance I can see a problem with logging in after changing between EU and NA server. To be precise I can login without any issue to one server (no matter if it is EU or NA) and when I log out and change to the other one I can't get in anymore and getting error message below. I have to wait about 5 minutes to be able to login to the other server. Previously I was able to login and logout between servers without any issue.

Its deliberate - there was a hotfix a few days ago for PC and console, you need to wait 3 minutes from log out on one server to log into the other

There is now a 3 minute "cooldown" when switching servers. The error shown isn't what's actually happening. Wait 3 minutes from your log out and try again.

The fix was so hot they couldn't include a pop-up explaining what happens and stating to be patient for a couple of minutes.

Ahh thanks for info. Didn't know about this new "feature". That asterisk note makes me very curious. Looking forward for message: you can now switch between server once a day.. or week... or month... or ?

Wow, that's an annoying change. So on top of the time it takes to login at all, I now also have to wait an additional 3 minutes, just because I have characters on both megaservers? I really fail to see the benefit of this change.

Account 1 EU, NA
then Account 2 EU, NA

So I now have to switch accounts first to complete EU and EU, then NA and NA.

I already have almost left ESO because it got so much worse in the last 2 years, just get my daily rewards and some endeavours now and then.
Just wanted to "come back" for jesters and the new Blueprints in Gaen (released on xbox yesterday).
But I already just end up swearing and switching back to the mutation event of another game.
Why, just why does the user experience get constantly setbacks in this game?

Most people don't play multiple accounts on multiple servers, so most people aren't affected by this change.

I have an Alt account and run both EU and NA on my main, but I decided a long time ago that doing stuff every day on everything was not worth the effort.

It doesn't require multiple accounts to be affected by this change, just switching between servers on the same account will trigger the 3 minutes delay in logging into the second server, and who knows how significant any future changes in the delay will be?

sure, most people also have not spent approx 1000 Euro for the game. Embarrass 100 people like me and you have a loss of 100.000 Euro/US$.
I was trying to give the game another chance after I unsubbed in december, but such issues are not suited to gain my trust and money back.

This whole thing is REALLY ANNOYING.

If it gets any worse (as it may....) I will drop 3 annual subs, and go play something else. Probably Skyrim and Oblivion....

This only affects people switching between EU and NA. Who might those people be? Could they be the most dedicated players?

It's been quite bad on Xbox EU/NA servers. It seems unstable since update.
