Ability Bar Timers are removed by casting skill that grants the same named buff or debuff

With Ability Bar Timers active, casting a skill that grants a named buff (such as Major Sorcery) or applies a named debuff to an enemy will remove the timer for other skills that grant the same buff or debuff. For example, alternating Degeneration and Blue Betty will remove the timer for Blue Betty when you cast Degeneration, and vice-versa; casting Deep Fissure will remove the timer for Elemental Susceptibility.

This problem also extends to drinking potions; for example, consuming a potion that grants Major Sorcery will remove the timer for Critical Surge.

The skills remain active and continue to affect the player and enemies, this is purely a cosmetic issue with the displayed Ability Bar Timers.

    This is still happening as OP described.

    For me it happens for crit surge on sorc when I receive major sorcery from someone else or drink a position.
    Note this does not happen with power surge morph, so there may be some morph based details to it.

    Also happens with boundless storms when I receive major resolve from someone else.

    While this is visual sure, wouldn't write it off as just "cosmetic" because it causes confusion on uptimes and re-casting more than necessary.

    This is happening to Necros ability “Bone Armor” if you also use “Resolving Vigor” now that Bone Armor gives minor resolve. Extremely annoying for pvp because keeping you major and minor resolve up is extremely important.

    It's particularly annoying for necro as Unnerving Boneyard is the morph you want to use in group PvE for the AOE Breach and Minor Vuln, but since the timer goes off of the debuffs it becomes extremely difficult to keep track of when you need to recast it in a dynamic rotation. The timer will drop down to 0 and then go back to 4 since the debuffs now stick to the enemy for up to 4 seconds after the ability ends.

    Another annoying example is if a support is using the Blind monster set. That gives Minor Force and conflicts with Barbed Trap's timer. You'll have say 16 seconds on Trap's timer then get a Blind proc and then the timer suddenly disappears, completely throwing off your rotation and wasting dps.

    Another example is Elemental Susceptibility. The timer goes off of the Major Breach, which means every time the tank uses Pierce Armor your timer for Ele Sus disappears, making it extremely annoying to do a dynamic rotation with it.

    Would be lovely if @devs even acknowledged this so we know that at least they are aware. This bug has made it almost impossible to properly maintain a dynamic rotation. Especially with scribing added there are a ton of other things that make this bug appear. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE address this.
