Have looked at a few threads and didn't want to bump them as they were 2 years old.

Looks as though this mythic isn't working again.

I have all of Shalidors library and it shows as full bonus.

When I hand in town quest it gives me same AP as if I wasn't wearing this mythic.

I think this is the same story as with the colovian war torte.
You only get the bonus ap for your alliance rank and not for your pocket.

Btw on PS5 there is an optical bug. I also have the library complete, but i only get max. crit. chance shown and not exp/ap.

Now that you mention it the XP isn't working either.

Think you're right only the critical chance bonus applies.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
I get the bonus exp, so the bug is just optical but of course still confusing.

No worries just tested it again and yes the XP does count

It doesn't say about alliance points but about alliance rank and alliance skill meaning it just increases the amount of points You get into these. Normally Your alliannce rank and alliance skill lines are getting their points in 1-1 ratio towards Your AP gain but with mora's whiper it'll be 1-1,1 meaning that for example 10k AP equals to 11k alliance skill/rank points.

I thought alliance rank was 1-1 ratio with AP so 100 AP will give me 100 points in alliance rank.

If this isn't the case then can you give me a link to somewhere that explains how it is worked out.

Have tried searching myself but everything I have found is as clear as mud.

alliance rank without any modifiers, is 1:1 with earned AP

moras is 10% bonus to rank

so if you earned say 1500 AP for capping a resource, that would be 1650 AP progress on alliance rank (or basically nearly the same bonus as your faction owning one of the edge keeps in cyro (edge keep being drakelow, dragonclaw, or brindle, each one your faction owns is +8% raw AP earned)

the war torte (at least the colovian one) is +50%, or 5x better than moras and doesnt take up a gear slot or require you to farm all of the mages guild lorebooks lol

you technically could stack them to have a 60% bonus though on your rank

So, if I earn 419AP for handing in a town quest it will still show as 419 on screen and the bonus is added after only to the rank itself. So I am not earning the extra AP just the points to alliance rank.

That also makes it clear for the war torte now. Will start using those again.

Wish there was a way to see alliance rank points as they are earned so I can check I am getting the right amount.

I had all the books bar 2 and was lacking for stuff to do recently. Got those 2 books and farmed the last 2 pieces of Moras so not really taking me away from anything.

assuming your on PC, there is an addon you can use that displays your alliance rank with a counter showing X amount of AP needed to rank up

its also searchable on minion, but i use that to kind of give me an idea how much more AP i need to rank up, it doesnt output anything to chat that im aware of

but for your test, if you earned 419 AP, and you had a war torte and moras active then you should see the amount needed to rank up decrease by approx 670 (50% from war torte, 10% from moras max bonus)

if you have other sources of AP bonus (double ap from the event, or as noted your faction owning the edge keeps, or the 1 hour +20% AP bonus from a cyro delve boss), those bonuses are applied before the war torte/moras bonus because its affecting your base AP earned

I only receive 9% and 14% on the shoulders, not the required 10% and 15%.

When you say “receive,” do you mean actually receive as in you tested the xp/inspiration/rank gains and got only 9%/14%, or do you just mean see on your tooltip that the numbers are 9%/14% when you expect 10%/15%?

The tooltip issue has been reported before. If the tooltip says you have full crit chance but 9%/14% for the lines, that is definitely a bug, since it isn’t possible to have full crit chance but 9%/14% for the xp/rank bonuses.

But so far no one has provided any data indicating it’s anything other than a visual bug. If you tested it and are only getting 9%/14% (additive with other sources), then that should be reported here and in game. There are also several threads in this section on it as well. They have yet to be consolidated.

ETA: I would test it myself, but this issue doesn’t seem to impact PC.

No, I have not tested this.
How would I go about testing it?

What I mean is I have all the books. As such I the shoulders should say +10% and +15%. But they only say +9% and +14%. I assume the crit is also not correct; the severs are down, so I can not check them for the correct number.

i think ive seen this reported before

for some reason the mythic only states 9/14% instead of the max values, but im not sure if it is a display issue on the mythic and you do get the full bonus, or an actual issue where your receiving the stated values which are less than what you should

i think this was a more common issue on console as well
