Stormweaver's Cavort Lead Bugged?

A friend has been doing Toothmaul Gully for over 7 hours today attempting to get the lead "Braided Blessed Brambles" for Stormweaver's from the group boss, but it has not dropped for him. I have also joined in and it hasn't dropped for me after 3 tries, but that could just be RNG.

It is possible that the lead is bugged and is not dropping. Has anyone had luck with this recently?

Update: it just dropped for me, but it is my first time getting the lead. Friend who is having difficulty is trying to get his second lead for codex entries.

theres a big list of antiquity leads which in the next patch are going to get a higher drop rate (though the one your talking about is not one of them)

i dont remember having too much trouble getting this one, in fact i think i recently got a 2nd drop for this lead doing another run in there, so it could be RNG

I have been having trouble with it today. Been doing it for one and a half hours now, killing it every time it spawns. I've had to kill 17 times before it dropped, that is too bad rng for such a task. For a world event sure, but not world bosses or dungeon end bosses, or in this case public dungeon group event bosses.
Damn it is boring camping like that. No skill involved, just waiting for it to respawn and hope luck is with you.
