Darkshade Cavern 1 pressure plates

2 people must stand on the pressure plates in Darkshade Caverns 1 to gain access to the next level. This means the dungeon can't be run solo. The pressure plates in The Lost City of Na-Totambu were changed to allow for solo content. Please make the change to Darkshade Caverns as well.

Pressure plates in Darkshade Caverns? I don’t think there any in that dungeon. Plus, I’ve seen DC1 on lists of soloable dungeons. 🤔

Do you mean Direfrost Keep?

It would be great if ZOS implemented a “stand there” instruction you could give a companion for them to not move so long as you remained within a certain distance and they weren’t under attack.

This is probably about direfrost keep.
It is soloable. Hit the troll behind the gates with a ranged attack, and gap close when it moves in range.
Then gap close into the boss when you get to its room.

And if you think this is cheesing it, well... let me quote Eboric Direfrost himself:

Cheesing it is the official, quest npc approved way of doing it.

Oddly, they deliberately changed the lever in Direfrost to make it harder to solo. Although workarounds, like the one mentioned above, exist for this and all the other dungeons, people rarely post them lest they get "fixed" as well.

You had to trigger them in pairs. So, you had to have someone else around to trigger the event, which was not something you could rely at all on silver and gold zones.
