Tamriel Beast Collector | Wamasu | Buzzing Spine trophy: Map for Southern Shadowfan

In case others find it useful: I've been farming for the buzzing spine (wamasu) trophy for the Tamriel Beast Collector achievement. Guides recommend farming them in Southern Shadowfen. I thought a map would be useful. I don't guarantee I've found every wamasu, but wamasu do spawn in the areas marked with the red circles. This is my edit of the wonderful UESP map, showing the southern part of Shadowfen, from Arx Corinium on the west to Alten Corimont on the east. 30+ spawn points are marked. They spawn faster than a circuit can be made of the entire area, and there are a few smaller circuits that work pretty well.

I've been trying to get the buzzing spine for years so have most of the locations pretty much memorised. Now with AwA I'll probably eventually get the achievement on some character that did nothing else. or not at all.

It's remarkable how many spineless wamazu there are. Maybe a result of inbreeding?

After 2 months of trying, it's finally out, the latest trophy; "Buzzing Spine" region = Grathwood, The Gre Mire (note: I got it 10 minutes after opening 2 pets on my magicka sorcerer character, I recommend you to try it by playing with the magicka sorcerer and companion + 2 pets, the chance of getting it increases.) 🤠
