Is shocking siphon and mortal coil supposed to proc dark convergence?

If so, that's stupid. Those aren't ground effects, they're more like tethers.

Can't edit my post. I guess it kinda makes sense. The corpses are on the ground, so technically a ground effect. So anything that activates them would be a "ground" effect, right? Test:

    life and death - y -- ground
    boneyard - y -- ground
shocking siphon - y -- no target. does have a black circle thing, so "effect".
mortal coil - y -- no target. No animation thing except corpse tether glow.

necrotic potency - n -- area. has an effect but nothing touching the floor
render flesh - n - area - same as potency.

conclusion: siphon makes sense, but coil doesn't. maybe. idk.

If I'm not mistaken, mortal coil actually has a small (invisible) ground aoe around the corpse being siphoned. Allies can stand in it and get healed instead of trying to make the beam pass through them.

Both skills leave a small effect on the ground (one heals allies, the other damages enemies) which does meet dark convergence's proc condition.

Also OP the edit button isn't located in the usual spot for the original post. Need to scroll up a bit to find the gear icon.
