[suggestion] complete overhaul of the furniture creation system

Hi. Surely you have had such a case when you study a recipe for furniture and then you spend some time looking for this furniture in this long list of already studied recipes. It is not always possible to understand where you will find the studied pillow recipe (living room, bedroom, gallery). What category does it belong to? Perhaps the pillow I created will lie in the bathroom or in the kitchen. It is unlikely that guests will reproach me for putting the pillow from the bedroom in the toilet. I want to offer a more convenient system for creating furniture. Let's say we want to create a chair, the workbench offers us a style in which we can create this chair (argonian, solitude, druid). Like creating armor on workbenches. Let's say I want to create all the furniture in the Markarth style. It would also be useful to break down all the furniture by color (white->gold) in order to immediately know what components I need for this. It is extremely important for me to know what item I want to create, I do not need it to be tied to a specific room (it's up to me to decide where to put it). That would be much more convenient. Share your impressions on this topic or make suggestions.

Even though a furnishing can be placed anywhere the categories make it easier to find, especially if the player knows a lot of patterns. Although I do think they could categorize it better.

The purchase tab when in decorating mode in a house breaks it down to Parlor, then subcategories such as Tapestries, Banners, Couches, Tea Tables. But when actually crafting all we see is Parlor with all the subcategories jumbled up in one pile. Subcategories would be very helpful when crafting.

It would also make sense to give us a crafting table just for Furnishings. It is so inconvenient to go from Woodworking to Clothing to Enchanting stations looking for one particular bed.

As far as styles, with the list being alphabetical it does put the same styles together in the list.

Just need a search prompt for every furnishing crafting station. It is really hard to find what you are looking for when you know all recipes.

I'm suggesting just changing the categories to item names. To know exactly what to look for. The lists are getting long. Categories and subcategories helped us with this.

Yeah, a search function is definitely needed. A day ago I wanted to make a bottle of wine and I spent forever thinking it was a provisioning recipe, only to suddenly remember it was alchemy.

It’s not always clear where things are.

    Something like this?

Tables > Tea Tables, Dining Tables, Trestles, etc.

Yes, that's right. Instead of places where items can be located, the items themselves are named and they are already divided into subcategories. There you can also choose the style of the item and its quality (from the existing studied recipes, from white to gold)

How about a simple search box in a crafting station... that would help immensely, although you would potentially still need to search every crafting station until you found it.
    Or, of course, there's ESO-Fashion.

Search prompt is what we really need. Type in Chair, we see all of them, unless we type in say Redguard Chair. Give an item preview when asked so we can be sure.

Problem with Categories is one persons system can be another ones confusion.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.
