[POLL] Should Vampire be reworked again?

I wonder what players think about the Vampire skill line. It had been reworked a couple of dlcs ago and initially it felt that this rework made vampirism interesting and a rewarding experience. I understand that it may have led to some situations where vampirisn could justifyably be considered overpowered. So it looks like it got nerfed. At least that is my impression. Now people only play it for rpg reasons or because they like the visuals. After all, despite the good start with the reworked vampire we are now back where we had been before.

So my question is: Should it be reworked? If you answer yes, I'd like to know what you think should be altered.

Um, with respect, you have it backwards. Before the vampire was really nerfed after the DLC, and only recently has it become good, and with the change to mist form, it is exactly where most people were hoping for initially before the revamp.

Compared to what it was it's been nerfed. There was a time when vampire DKs were unstoppable PvP machines. We're going a ways back with that but still.

No, me being a Vampir, I am happy with it as it is.

With the new change on the PTS it's going to be where a lot of people were hoping for it. My only 2 problems after this little rework to Mistform would be how hard it is to land Mesmerize and the overall power of Vampiric Drain. I think making Mesmerize stun anyone in the AoE, but then becoming unblockable if a target is looking at you would be the better call for it, but other than those things vampire is fine.

I can use Blood Frenzy in PvE, the spammable in both PvE and PvP, Mesmerize despite it's problems can be used against ball groups in PvP, Vampiric Drain is a bit of a utility ability and once you treat it like one it stops being so bad, Swarming Scion is incredibly good in PvP if you can afford it, Mistform currently is amazing in PvP but on the PTS It will get PvE usage again, and the passives are fine.

Also ZOS made it so feeding heals you to full so I'm not complaining about the feeding anymore either.

I was hoping we'd get a real vampire rework when Greymoor dropped incorporating many of Greymoor's vampire abilities but alas it was not to be. I'd still like a Greymoor rework even if late, maybe let us summon a combat bat among other things.

Just because it isnt over powered does not make it weak, it makes it balanced. As is, it is nearly balanced, with the mist form its better and extremely close to the sweet spot. There is no need for a rework anymore.

You can keep hoping, itll be a long time. The only skill that needs help now is drain imo.

Yes, it needs to be reworked.

Most of all I want to have abilities like Ravenwatch vampires. Why do we have to be this scion of Lamae or whatever thing? It’s fine to have options for more monstrous vampires and would have made sense to introduce in the Greymoor chapter, but as part of the overall world and vampire lore and again, as an option with cost/power trade-offs as well as RP implications.

Yes, it needs to be reworked.

It's not just the performance, the whole vampire experience is lackluster, I don't get to feel as a vampire very often, also, the scion is weak and looks horrible. The only good thing that happened with the rework are the feeding animations & feeding system (feeding makes you stronger) but yeah, poor execution.

Yes. Make it its own thing like WW . Get rid of the broken passives so I'm not forced to be one in pvp and look ugly.

Skills just need to be altered, this change to Mist Form is exactly what we needed but the other skills could do with some love

- Vampiric Drain could be made into a reverse execute, it drains more health the less health you have so logically it should deal more damage as well

- Mezmerise should activate a feed synergy allowing you to instantly kill weaker enemies who have been effected, if that seems like it would be OP then it really isn't, any mob you can feed from is already killable in 1 or 2 hits anyway, it would take longer to kill them this way, this would be for feeding for non-stealth oriented vampires.

- Eviscerate needs some kind of buff IDK, maybe it can also cause bleeding damage.

- Perfect Scion needs to get a buff to make it alluring compared to Swarming Scion, maybe have it last 10 seconds longer.
