Seems like forever we have been asking for a new warden pet.

I’ve seen so many posts requesting another warden pet not just the bear, I personally would love to see a large bat for vampire or a ice themed combat pet for your ice themed warden or a flame theme for them fiery builds I’m sure this would of been one of the most requested upgrade asked for from the players over the years.

Frankly, I'd just be happy with a nice wolf for Warden and wouldn't want flames or flash. My eyes hurt enough with all the flash that is around in the game with some of the mounts that appear!

I'm surprised they never created new skins for the warden pet since they were already offering a different colored bear as incentive for purchasing the collectibles that came with that expansion. It really wouldn't be hard to switch out the models. Combat animations already exist for many of the requested warden pets. I don't see why this isn't a thing already.

Compare the pet system in WoW and GW2 to what we have in this game…. Not trying to be rude but we really should have new pet models by now.

Also new werewolf model skins, new spell animations….

As OPTIONS, yes please! I’d pass on the new jabs and flurry flail. I like the look of most NB skills, the only thing I can think of I wish different is that the summoned shade should be silent.

I would love to see more variety of warden pets too. An option to choose the warden pet would be nice. I would like to have a kitsune (mythical 9 tailed fox) as a warden pet that has both shadow and celestial magical powers.

I mean at this point the silence IS the answer.

Id love a Cliffstrider, Giant spider, Wolf, Nix Ox Wamasu or any other of the options for cool beasts. It'd also be great if it were in any way threatening to anyone but NPCS.

Hell I'd rather a Fire Atro instead of a scam! It isn't happening which is a huge bummer.

im really surprised they didnt invest more in this either

we got the 1 alternate skin for the bear from morrowind, and literally nothing since (almost 5 years now? lol)

you would think a skin would be easier to do than a full new pet type lol

I'm surprised there's never been more alternate skins for the warden pet as well. When they made the grey bear skin and added a section to the collectibles menu for it I just assumed they'd make more of them. They don't need to have new skills or anything, just a different appearence.

Top of my list would be a grey wolf.

I too would love alternate models. They don't even have to attack differently. Just alternate cosmetic models.

My top picks; a wolf, a senche, and (I am stretching here) a guar perhaps? I think this would cover all three alliances.

I think it's strange they have added custom animations for harvesting, which I've never seen anyone ask for, yet are consistently silent on custom cosmetics for pets. Many of us would pay for as little as a different colour!

I would love to have a wolf or battle cat companion, maybe even a duneripper in place of shalks would be cool. The Vvardenfell theme is so Morrowind specific, it would be nice to add some variety to pets. I’d be willing to pay for this.

It's like there's no pleasing you after years of politely and constructively expressing in clear terms what you want and are willing to pay for.

If they stick with animals which are already in the game I don't see why that would be a problem. We already have wolves with combat animations, so a warden pet version could use the same ones as the NPC wolves. Same with other things like bats, cliff striders, wamasu, senche etc.

I do think it's an important point that no one is asking for the skills themselves to be changed - balancing a whole load of different pets could be difficult and an unnecessary complication. (Also if these are crown store unlocks that would add pay-to-win complaints.) This would be a purely cosmetic change. The damage type, numbers etc. could stay the same, it would just be the model that would change.

I love Mr. Bear, we've been through a LOT together, but everything about my main is wolf-themed so it would be a perfect switch. Adding in other spirits like Smilodon would be a win too!

I held out a secret hope that something like new warden pets was coming with the whole High Isle, introduction of druids DLCs. The DLC is very druid, forest spirit, nature-centric so it would have been the perfect time and feels like a missed opportunity IMO.

I agree.
Both world of warcraft and guild wars 2 has these options/systems. So why not Elderscrolls?

I suggest that choosing pets/pet customization should be added into elderscrolls. This system will include the ability to name your pet, choose its abilities/talents/role(dps or tank), change its looks, dismiss and summon pets, tame new pets, and feed the pet to heal it.

Also a combat system for warden pets should be added thats similar to the one in WoW.

These ideas will make the warden class even more fun to play.

I wouldn't mind seeing more pets but nothing that flies.

And the ones that fly now should be turned into little teeny tiny small wee miniatures of what they are now. Like butterfly size but let them still have a decent sized hit box.

ZOS knows they could make bank selling skins for sorcerer, werewolf, and warden pets, as well as werewolf and vampire variations. It’s got to be a performance issue for them to pass up that much potential income.

They can make them purchasable with Seals Of Endeavor, or give you a million to one chance (abstraction) to get it in game (like the 150% Alliance War torte) so that they can say, "Well, you don't have to spend real money, there are other ways to get it."

If it's purely cosmetic I don't see how it's any different to selling costumes, mounts, motifs, weapon packs etc.

They've even started selling things which change some effects, like gathering and using a wayshrine and I don't think many people complained about those.
