I know we get Arena weapons but I would love them to introduce mythic weapons and shields to excavate for with some unique abilities.

DrNukenstein✭✭✭✭✭I like the idea of a weapon that changes its weapon type depending on the weapon skills slotted. It would default to two handed with no weapon skills (and have it's own skin which would finally allow for a one weapon one handed look without gimping yourself), and could use any combination of weapon skills.
For example if your bar had:
blade cloak, rending slashes, whirling blades it would allow you to equip a second weapon and benefit from dw passives.
But if you had something like:
Rally, destructive clench, impulse it would benefit from destruction staff passives while having a melee attack animation.

✭✭✭I've been saying mythic weapons and shields should come to the game. They should make legendary artifacts into mythics. Keening and Sunder, Goldbrand, Umbra, Spellbreaker.
Many of the 3D models already exist in-game. They even use Volendrung in Cryodiil as an artifact you can get and use. They could follow the formula of normal mythic items, but I think to spice things up, they could do a minor Volendrung effect when you equip a mythic weapon or shield; You can only equip one, and it gives you a skill you can put on your bar as well as a passive effect from the weapon. It could be an attack, like "Malacath's Vengeance" on Volendrung, or it could be a buff. Just depends on the item, really.0 -

✭✭Not impossible. Gaze of Sithis and Mora's Whispers are examples of mythics that prevents one from using a full monster set. A mythic weapon or shield might enable new gameplay opportunities that aren't related to augmenting specific skills.
Random Nonsensical Examples:
Shield of the Guardian: This shield was made with the soul of a retired knight that survived a legendary dragon's fire breath, while everyone else in their party died. As long as the shield is equipped, the user takes on all damage that would be inflicted on allies within 6 meters, but doubles the amount of resources drained while blocking.
Double-Edge: A cursed akaviri katana made by a masochistic samurai that wanted to feel every cut that they inflicted on others. Light and heavy attacks deal double damage on non-player enemies and 25% more damage on players. Every time a light or heavy attack makes contact, the user of the katana succumbs to stacking unpurgable bleed damage that lasts for 4 seconds. Each strike doubles the amount of bleed damage a user takes and refreshes the bleed timer. Can stack up to 4 times. - Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).
