Using One Sword and No Shield

Is there a way to set where the experience goes from using on sword? Currently the game defaults to putting all xp towards sword and shield, which isn't good for anyone trying to find a 2nd weapon, or just wants to use one weapon for some bizarre reason.

MorHawk✭✭✭✭✭They had to choose between two-handed and sword/board. The XP couldn't go up in smoke, after all, and there is no one-handed line. Whichever of the two they chose, someone would have complained.
Yes, this means that you're kinda forced to run a shield until you can get that second blade. Which you can get within minutes. Not really an issue.Edited by MorHawk on March 31, 2014 3:06PMI can count to potato.
