NPC chat in Text Box How do I turn off? Setting Bugged?

I still get NPC chat showing in my Text chat log Despite being UnTicked in settings is this a Bug? Im on PC

✭✭✭✭✭if the text is like "purple" that might be the emote chat from another player, which you do still have enabled
it might be easier to identify if you had a screenshot of your actual chat box (if you do, usually good idea to remove names of players)plays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

✭✭✭✭✭just to make sure the settings from above are for the chat tab labeled "chat" is that the same one in the screenshot?
if it is, then im not sure what would be happening since i dont think ive had this problem (and im also on PC)
but if you made extra chat tabs, you could be looking at the settings for the "chat" one and maybe have a different one selected in the chat windowplays PC/NA
