Bug for Parties for Whispers in the Wood / Murkmire

In a party of two doing Whispers in the Wood in Murkmire, we came to the point in the quest where were finding clues 0-3 and each of us got a clue, but then the other could not get a clue. So I'm left with 2/3 and my partner has 1/3 clues and we are both unable to finish the quest. After a search I did not find this bug reported, or a way to get around it.

Is there a way to reset this without abandoning the entire quest by one of us?

    this kind of bug has shown up in other WB dailies in newer zones (especially prevalent in high isle for example), the only reliable way to complete some of those was doing the collect portion outside of a group so you could actually collect all 3 of the object for the quest

    seems like even though they fixed newer cases, based on your experience it has bled over to other older WB dailies

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
