Any word on whether we will get private servers like fallout 76

Perhaps the feature that has changed fallout 76, as most of us dwell in our own little worlds or in my case my family all operates in our own private world.

Any talk about this feature coming in ESO? I know the elites hate it but the casuals love it.

It's MMORPG with megaservers. So "Never" is you answer.

Isn't that game made on creation engine and also have some sort of open world crafting/housing? That kinda makes some sense, but it's way different product, there's literally no purpose for such instances existing. Instancing is a problem in itself also, so bumping the number for no reason would be suicidal whilst something more meaningful might be crafted there instead. It's not coming whilst the game is more-less alive.

There is a major difference between these games.
ESO is an MMO, with an engine built around server based architecture. As any good MMO is.

FO76 is a single player game with tacked on multiplayer, an abomination on an IP, ruined to the point it is unrecognizable from the IP itself (its not that bad, I have played it) with MMO tier grinding for no actual end game to attempt to disguise it as an MMO, all while attempting to inconvenience the player in order to try force the player to fork our TRL MTX money in a scheme to cash out on whales, all while doing it on a near 4 decades old engine designed for the purpose of superficial modular engine support, not intended for multiplayer. let alone server based games.

tl:dr. FO76 is trash as will all bethesda games (since morrowind) as they always will be, especially after MS *** them.

I expect starfield to be not only a flop in terms of technical ability, but because MS has *** them, a complete and utter disastrous financial flop.

    Slow poke this comment.
Though not like MS is ever gonna release actual sales numbers.

In general unless you've heard ZOS are considering an idea it's best to assume they are not, especially if it would be a big change to the game.

It would be impossible for any game developer to list all the things they aren't planning to put into a game, even if you restricted it to things which already exist in other games and trying to do that and regularly update players on which ones they still aren't considering would be a huge waste of time.

So unless you've heard from a reliable source that there was talk about adding private servers there's absolutely no reason to think it's been considered or that there would be any official word on it.

    Is this a serious question?

I played a mobile/detskop game for a few years where you could pay with servants same as crowns in Eso the devs to open Realms that you designed and choose players to invite or free for all to enter, it was a big thing for the game but will probably never happen in Eso.

We have that. It’s called player housing. The areas involved are rather small, however.

I hope not. My experience from Fallout and other games like this (Conan): Most servers will just be empty. This would destroy the idea of a MMORG.

And no, I don't like this and I am a casual.
