I recently decided to give builds a try and I was wondering if i could get some good ones, I run a magic sorc and a necro. I also heard that Perfected Mantle Of Siroria is a good gear set for magic classes. Can someone recommend me a build or some gear that would be good for a magic class?

    For what content?
    Group PvE? DPS? Tanking? Healing?
    PvP?
    SOLO PvE?
Makes big differences what you want to play.
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

There are plenty of sites out there, with Alcast, Skinnycheeks, and Deltia's being three of the more popular. But @Zodiarkslayer is correct, it really depends on what you are doing.

You also mentioned Perfected Siroria's. No offense, but if you are looking on how to make a build, that is not a realistically obtainable set at this point. That's a trial set you can only get from running veteran Cloudrest, a trial. There are plenty of alternatives that will help you get a set like that, but its not something you should hinge your build on.

Yeah, I wouldn't turn to commercial content creators. You can pretty much learn nothing from them, just the names of sets and abilities. Most are creating entertainment. It's how they sustain themselves.
SkinnyCheeks is the exception, though. He has in depth videos with thorough explanations, but for endgamers, not players starting out.

If you are starting out, know that you are going to have to make an effort to improve. That means both your knowledge about the game and your own player skill. ESO has become so complex and changes constantly, that there is no other way. Copy/Paste ain't gonna work.

The best staring point are baseline sets like Order's Wrath, Briarheart, Mother's Sorrow and the like. Craftable, Overland, easy access.
And then you look at how you play, how you use the abilities and the passives of your class. You look at rotation and uptimes of buffs and debuffs and your stats. And how you perform.
Analyse your own game and get feedback from friends, guildies or the forum.
