Unless you've just murdered them all for today's daily endeavor. Happened to me at the Dres plantation outside Mournhold...

Yeah yeah, I know. Poor Dres. Have to buy new slaves servants laborers (that's obviously what they're called in one of the Q1 dungeons) now. But at least the payment was good. Or wait, it wasn't. Obviously 1 npc's life is worth just 1.5 seals of endeavor nowadays. They're getting cheaper and cheapter, it seems.

These dragons are tough enough. Quite often in the last week or so, when I help kill a dragon, I see another player killed by it. I underestimated one yesterday and got killed by it. I've also never seen one die in only a few seconds.The_Titan_Tim wrote: »I would love if instead of just flying around, the Dragons became traveling World Bosses that stopped in a random city every few hours.
Not much fun if dragons will be similar to the ones from Elsweyr, a flying equivalent for Alik'r dolmens. Once they land they die in few seconds. Farmed by groups of roaming dedicated dragon slayers. World Bosses should be tough enough to stand against these groups for far more time. Take example of GuildWars2 World Bosses, The Shatterer is a good dragon example, wielding powerful abilities and here fighting hundreds of players for 8 minutes:

Oh, I have an ambivalent stance on the whole endeavors thing because of this. I know they were basically only introduced to reduce criticism about the crates ("But the players can get the items without spending real money, too!"). And I have realized of course that the amount of seals per task is being reduced more and more since launch of the system. Still, I'm doing the easy ones if I feel like doing them. I'm not interested in most items anyway, especially not in apex mounts (I think them being all glowy and sparkly looks tacky), and for some piece of furniture or a costume every few months, the seals are sufficient.
If you listen closely, you can hear the dragon calling for card sharps and collectors. He wants to tell you about a brand new card game!
This would be so great.The_Titan_Tim wrote: »I would love if instead of just flying around, the Dragons became traveling World Bosses that stopped in a random city every few hours.
