Possible to update hardware yearly? for perfomance

When zos updated PC NA hardware cyrodiil became lag free until every new patch when it started degrading but cyro was playable for months. So is it possible to keep updating the hardware every year perhaps? Do they cost too much or the order time too long? Atleast we know a short solution to the perfomance in cyrodiil and when cyrodiil is playable its pretty much the best mmo pvp game imo. Those months is like living the pvp dream we always wished for as pvpers. We even saw old players come back to the game. Since the reason a lot of players stopped playing was because of the lag. Would keep updating the hardware more often fix the perfomance? That would bring back old players, current players and probably new players to pvp.

As far as I remember, performance started degrading when ball groups, and more people came back in droves, that was within 1-2 months of the hardware upgrade. Patches had nothing to do with the lag coming back. I personally still had lag soon after the upgrade. I know others did too. You really think they'll waste more money every year for this?

That's why im asking if its too expensive but yeah it should be worth it. Having a playable cyrodiil at prime time is every pvpers dream. As performance isnt just a issue for ESO but most games/mmos when it comes to high populated areas. So having a "solution" is definitely worth wasting money on when so many players will keep playing the game for pvp.

Well, the server upgrade "fix" was only temporary, the lag came back anyway, and not even that long after. So that's not the solution.

Changing out hardware every year is a LOT of money spent.

Yes, lag came back but it was still playable for months. That’s why im asking if it’s possible to keep updating.

Doubtful that ZOS (or Microsoft) would want to spend that kind of money on an 8 year old game.

It is very much possible to update hardware yearly. It will likely not make much sense financially and the return each year would become minimal. As such it is not probable.
