Why do your elfs in cinematics have normal human looking eyes?

In all seriousness though, it's a puzzle, and people like to solve puzzles when they're intreauguing. Leave them to it if it makes them happy. Not every thread has to be about what you personally find valuable to complain about. There's no reason why they can't explore the subject, and we dont need another ten thousand threads about the same old thing.

I've personally found the observations here fascinating as the strangeness of this characters eyes and facial structure was the first thing I noticed in the trailers. It's really quite glaring and piqued my curiosity too.

    Legends never die
    They're written down in eternity
But you'll never see the price it costs
The scars collected all their lives
When everything's lost, they pick up their hearts and avenge defeat
Before it all starts, they suffer through harm just to touch a dream
    Oh, pick yourself up, 'cause
    Legends never die

If we sleep on this, we might wake up to this:

Alien/unique Elf enjoyers must be ever vigilant or we might end up with generic "human" elves( :s )

That advert was removed or replaced, I think they fully intended to use it but know they shouldn't now.

I guess it is a bit odd (if she is a Dunmer) that she lacks the red eyes that we saw the Dunmer have the Morrowind trailer.

Maybe they just did not look right in the rendering during the night/stealth scene, or they wanted to differentiate her from the daedra character.

That being said, I really enjoyed the trailer as I do all of the trailers for eso.

It's normal that they are replaced by newer ads after a few days. So unfortunately, I don't think it's a reaction on our feedback.

But the monster's eyes look awesome and really pop in the darkness, while the fake elf's black eyes are kind of hard to see.

Doesn't seem logical from a viewer engagement standpoint.

dunmer don't have to be red, if the red y'all think is a requirement is because they need to be the colour of fire then just look up all the possible fire colours. spoiler alert: it ain't just red.

the dunmer Morag Tong assassin in the morrowind trailer is Naryu, she is wearing Naryu's costume.

the dunmer in the trailer is the player character like the redguard warden in the morrowind trailer, and the argonian and the imperial in the blackwood trailer.

dunmer in these trailers arent orcs, if you're ever in doubt someone is an orc Look For Tusks.

cinematic trailers for videogames aren't the same as the game but it's not really inaccurate.

Well that was kind of the point I was trying to make. In the video, the visual clues are “red eyes = bad guys”, so they may have wanted to differentiate her eye color because of that.

Now for the actual eye shape/general size of her eyes approaching that of a humans eyes, that might be something that can be criticized.
But in the context of the “story” they wanted to present in that short video, I think they went with an eye type that is relatable to the viewer. To kind of drive home visually who the hero (player) was in the cast of characters.

Elf irises shrink to human size when they turn vampire, but perhaps it’s just easier to make human eyes.

I prefer the big irises, it looks pretty cool and sets Tamriel apart from other RPG worlds

    I do as well.

But all in all, I have to say I really enjoy the videos they make. The eye issue aside, I really think it was well made. I particularly liked the “one-er” fight scene in the middle.
