Character Creation bug when adjusting Gamma settings.

Hi everyone,
Just been trying to set up my character and I decided to adjust the brightness a little so I could see what I was doing a bit better. After I exited the gamma adjustment interface, it returned to the character creation screen sans-overlay; I am unable to interact with the character creation. While I don't mind re-doing it, it's not a chore after all, I thought I'd mention it and see if there's a solution (and to give you guys a heads up about it as well).
I've attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing.
