Request: Class change for Necrom

I just don't think I can do it all over again; finding the lorebooks, doing fighters guild, every shard, undaunted, all the training, all the skill lines, and scrying to level 9 so i can see treasure chests UGH please don't make us do it anymore. Please offer something...a class change token, or some way to change classes naturally, we want to play the new class without all the extra chores! It also wouldn't hurt to include it in the pre-order, it would boost sales instantly!

The new class would be an amazing feature if they allowed class swapping (either paid or in-game).

This expansion makes class swapping Lore Friendly. It was Hermaeus Mora that let you respec in Skyrim after all and he is always willing to trade knowledge for other knowledge.

But yeah... with no way to access it on existing characters it is basically a dead feature to a large percent of the playerbase and Necrom will effectively add LESS than High Isle to the game for those players.

The fact that they're giving us another character slot and another paid-for character slot pretty much says it all. Don't get your hopes up.

I remember when Alliance Change tokens were an absolute pipe dream that would never happen. People spoke about all the coding that would be needed, how ZOS doesn't care (never tire of that one) and all these other things and then... it happened. They're providing new slots which seems to suggest it might not be happening this time around but, I wouldn't rule it out until the new stuff is here.

With so many characters to manage, not to mention recipes are not universal with the addition of outfit slots and mount training are character bound and will be lost forever if deleted, I do believe this game would benefit with a class change.

As it stands right now, this class only really appeals to *actual* new players... us vets are loathe to start the grind all over again.

I am getting to the point where most of my characters would have been a different class if all of the classes had already existed at launch. I would be willing to regrind all the class skill lines to 50 if that helps the technical aspect of it. Just let me keep the universal skill lines and crafting motif knowledge (and wayshrines, and skill points and mount training, and quest progress etc).

I wouldn't even mind if we had to level up skills again. I just don't want to lose outfit slots, recipes, and mount training if I want to re-roll a character or my main character for the new class

Oh right. Outfit and armory slots. Wow, another reason why it's predatory to have these be character-bound.

They wont introduce class change Tickets because they want you to buy skyshards, skillines, outfitslots, riding lessons and all the other things. It makes far more money than giving us a class change token.

There is a reason all these things are character bound.

Yeah I agree, starting over to do the same things all over again does not appeal to me.
