Dear community,
i want to introduce my project „Gildendatenbank“ (Guilddatabase).
The project has it’s roots some years ago. I played the mmo Runes of Magic and I was searching for a solution to integrate actual data of my guild and their members into my homepage. I didn’t find anything, so I decided to build it on my own and I build it, that other guild(-leaders) could use it, too. Thanks to the wonderfull MMO Elderscrolls Online, I did a complete rebuild.
The aim of the guilddatabase is, to give guilds and people, who are searching for guilds, a possibility to present or inform about a guild on the basis of the actual data of the game. Of corse, the data doesn’t need to be maintenanced manually. It will be (nearly) automatically generated and uploaded. This works with an addon “GuildExport” for Elder Scrolls Online which collects the data and a tool, which uploads this data to the guilddatabase. The data, which is collected, is all accessible in the game. So no passwords or similar will be transferred. Except they are found e.g. in the guilddescription.
At the moment, it’s possible to see the guilddata and memberlists on the homepage
http://www.gildendatenbank.de. Of course, there will be a search and some filters in the near future. Also there will be more functions, if they were supported by the game. Like e.g. statistic data.
For sure, there will be a joomla interface (Module) with which you can integrated the memberlist and guilddata into your joomla-based homepage. Many other interfaces will follow, but I’ll develop them, if there’s a demand.
There will be some further configuration options in the near future. So you will be able to set which data is uploaded in the upload tool and also there will be a member section on the homepage where you could configure and edit some custom data of your guild.
If you have questions, criticism or some wishes, just post it here or contact me via e-mail: support@gildendatenbank.de. Some questions and answers could be found here:
